That was an April Fools joke that's been taken out of context, it was debunked on the HentaiHaven discord server. According to the same person, there's currently no official statement on why it shut down. It reads:
"There is absolutely no official statement regarding the closure of the site. The staff, former staff now, are in the dark just like you all. In these trying times and uncertain times, we must band together as a community for we are all that is left. 2 years ago we started this discord in an attempt to bring about an actual community and I can proudly say that we meet that goal and more. It's been an honor and a privilege in serving this community and HentaiHaven as its Social Media Manager. As for the discord, I will try to maintain it, and in the worst case scenario. We do have a back up in the works. Carbon copy of this server. AND if that doesn't work, I have my own personal discord that we can try and work with. Please DO NOT bother any of the former staff about this topic."

A screenshot of this message was posted in the NSFW section of a server I'm on. As a short disclaimer, I will say that I've never used HentaiHaven, or really watched hentai in general, so this doesn't really affect me, though for all that are affected, I'm sorry for whatever loss you may feel.
