Who to contact about "signed manips" rule?
The "Rules of Conduct (forum ver.)" thread lists only Henry Killinger, and my understanding is that he resigned. I originally posted this just to ask who the mods are, so that could be more discoverable from the forum stickies (I eventually found it in the site-wide rules).

I wanted to contact the DMs about my objection to the "signed manips" rule. I think it's harmful to the creators of pre-manip images and I'd like that rule to at least be fleshed out more rather than everything being on a "case-by-case basis".

I want to know who specifically to start a dialogue with about this since AFAIK there's no such thing is "group DMs".

If you go to the rules tab you'll see the list of mods at the top.

Should be under

Hypnohub staff.

In fact its one of the very first things you see when you click it.

Ah you got to it before I did. Edited.

I hope the mods are fully aware that with this damn rule you are simply kicking out lots of content creators, some in this comunity might say "haha good ridance" like they said good ridance to Firemario when they kicked him too.
This site was such a good place, such a shame.

With firemario that was completely different.

Christ, here I was ready to complain that discussion is ten times as hard when I need to pick a mod to 1-on-1 with and someone wanders by and proves why the last thread needed to be locked.

I'm going to bed, just have whoever DM me or let me know who's the best person to talk to and I'll write up my grievance.

First off, the rule related to Firemario's content was created due to legal issues. So don't act like it was intended to kick him or anyone else off of the site.
And perhaps instead of approaching this so aggressively with "this damn rule" accusations, why not ask us why we've implemented the rule? You seem so certain that the staff wants to remove manippers and creators off of the site, when it's been said before: Manippers can reupload their deleted work, so long as signatures are removed.

I agree with how there should be some further dialogue going on, though I unfortunately am not the best person for this.

Gonna lock the thread later on, unless anyone has any last remaining questions to be addressed.

I have one: what's this new rule? Does it affect anything I've uploaded?

Short Version: Manippers cannot put watermakrs/signatures onto their manips, likely to avoid those losing track of the original artists and to make it harder for there to be straight-up art theft.

Personally, I'd recommend making it so that way Manippers can only sign their edits if the original creator is acknowledged in just as obvious a fashion.

While I do kind of agree with the sentiment and think it can potentially work, I believe it's still best discourage any new manips from including signatures, even when an artist is credited. It's a much safer route to take, and as stated, avoids any concerns over theft and whatnot.

I sent a Private message to Imausuki when the other trhead was closed asking if they can clarify about what will happened about my manips, I still have no asnwer.

Which of my manips will be deleted?
Those signed that also mention the original artist will be deleted?
Manips made before the rule is implemented will be deleted?
It will be valid to sign the manip if you also mention the original artist?
In case you do not write the name of the original artist, but you clarify that you are the manipper, will it be deleted anyway?

So you're saying it's better to have no credits at all rather than both artist and author being credited?

Can we lock this thread before it gets out of control again? Please, mods, lock this thread. Eldomtom2, if you have any grievances, I would suggest DM'ing people instead of making passive-aggressive insinuations.
