Hypnosis Story Prompts?
I dunno, I thought it might be cool to solicit ideas, have them around in case anybody wants them.

Something that I may or may not get around to doing myself: a story that follows a man/woman who runs a "watch people get hypnotized" channel on the internet. (Like Hypnosis on Display on YouTube, or one of the ones that I'm sure are on PornHub.) Could go any number of ways! Maybe, used to having plenty of people who just go through the motions with him for the pay, he unlocks a hypnofetish in one of his actresses and they get waaaaay too into it/him. I dunno! There's my prompt!

There was the hypnosis story synopsis game thread. That's not a bad place to start, if you want prompts.

Here's kind of an idea that I've been talking about with some friends.

In a world with superheroes, how would people with hypnosis and mind control fetishes react to living in a world woth hypnotists and mind controllers?

At least a few people would probably still be into them. They might even make a website to chronicle their experiences like we do here. This can lead to corruption stories of all sorts, where curious teenagers and teenage heroes stumble onto the site and have their interests piqued.

"Hi marvelous325. Mandrill is really fun on a primal level, but for a new hypnochaser you might be better off going for Ringleader. He's got a show coming up near you next week. It's funny how we can track him better than the cops can, lol"

So, they'd swap stories of being controlled, follow the activities of mind controllers, and use that to arrange "hookups" where they help someone get controlled. Plus, the idea that they would rate and rank supervillains is pretty funny.

I have one.

A hypno hide n seek story.

The set up would be similar to the first encounter with Kaa (The actual characters doesn't have to be Mowgli or Kaa though.) Where the subject isn't aware of hypnosis and gets hypnotized against their will, but instead of attempting to eat them or do something nefarious, the hypnotist toys with the subject for awhile. Telling him/her to sleepwalk, call them 'master', and awakening positive feelings within them, basically give them a small taste of what's can be experience with hypnosis. Then, because the hypnotist wants to give the subject a fair chance, he awakens him/her and, instead of giving them the simple yes or no option, he turns it into a game. A game of hide n seek.

Rules are simple: The subjects hides and if he/she doesn't get caught in a certain amount of time, they're free to go and from that moment on and the hypnosis from before will no longer work on them (from a suggestion given to them before hand.) It'll be lost forever. However if he/she gets caught he/she becomes a hypno slave forever, completely losing their free will and their old identity as the trance is amplified tenfold.

The subject immediately agrees, thinking he/she is going to take this opportunity to get as far away as possible, as its the most practical decision. But after awhile he/she realized the further he/she gets, the more their subconscious will start to miss the feeling of being hypnotized. A conflict is started if whether or not they want to be a hypno slave, whether or not they should make themselves easy or hard to find, whether or not there's a possibility being a hypno slave will be a tragic experience, whether or not he/she will live with regret if he/she doesn't get found etc etc etc.

Suggestion: Character that has triggers involving their computer. A program that they use has ensnared them and subtly reinforces itself. Whenever they click on a button that says confirm, they subconsciously read 'conform' instead. Whenever they click on the 'sleep' button they fall into a short trance and review their new programming before falling asleep.

Probably needs more to it but it's a starter not a script.

I've had this scenario in my head:

A woman (around in her late 20's or so) applies a job to a women's only restaurant that she's heard good things about from user reviews online. When she gets a position there, she's brainwashed by an ornamentation video created by the head of the restaurant herself to enforce subservience. But here's the real twist: When she discovers she's been brainwashed and is understandably horrified by it. all the other employees respond with a genuine shrug to it and actually roll along with it. And it's not like the women are abused there either; They just like the brainwashing because it makes the day go by faster or that it feels good.

Sorry if it comes off as rambly but if anyone wants to tackle it, feel free.

I might just... yoink... this one. Idk if I'd even make it inherently sexual in nature, but this sounds like something that'd be pretty fun to write out.

Yeah, I feel like that concept wants to be a comedy about how awful working in customer service is more than it wants to be an erotic MC story. I'm looking forward to whether it comes out nice, regardless.

include a no touching the waitresses rule and the fact that they get generously paid and it could be even better as a deconstruction of the cliched old evil company owner brainwashes employees

other notes
are the waitresses the only ones brainwashed?
-are the cooks brainwashed to make the orders as specified (within limits) and to heed special care cooking (like using different utensils for kosher, vegan, allergic people, etc. food)
-is the manager (not the owner) brainwashed to actually be a good manager who helps out where needed instead of just 'supervising'
-What of other staff like hostesses and dishwashers

wandering Bard goes on adventure, comes across desert, eventually succumbs to heat stroke and passes out, only to wake up in a village of lamias, having been found and taken in to be nursed back to health. Of course, his hosts arent exactly keen on letting him leave. Especially after hearing his flute, perhaps they can convince him to stay for a while longer.

I had an idea for a kinda pretentious hypnosis concept.

Basically, it's about Hegel/Fichte's philosophical idea of "thesis, antithesis, synthesis," where you take one thing and its opposite and try to combine the two.

The story I came up with was about a girl switching between a smart college grad and a bimbo; over time, the two personalities would merge together into a girl who's not quite as dumb as a "classic" bimbo but still not as smart as she used to be.

Obviously, this idea can be applied to a lot of different concepts, but I came up with bimbofication because that's just what I'm into. If someone wants to run with this concept, go ahead.
