I've had this scenario in my head:
A woman (around in her late 20's or so) applies a job to a women's only restaurant that she's heard good things about from user reviews online. When she gets a position there, she's brainwashed by an ornamentation video created by the head of the restaurant herself to enforce subservience. But here's the real twist: When she discovers she's been brainwashed and is understandably horrified by it. all the other employees respond with a genuine shrug to it and actually roll along with it. And it's not like the women are abused there either; They just like the brainwashing because it makes the day go by faster or that it feels good.
Sorry if it comes off as rambly but if anyone wants to tackle it, feel free.
include a no touching the waitresses rule and the fact that they get generously paid and it could be even better as a deconstruction of the cliched old evil company owner brainwashes employees
other notes
are the waitresses the only ones brainwashed?
-are the cooks brainwashed to make the orders as specified (within limits) and to heed special care cooking (like using different utensils for kosher, vegan, allergic people, etc. food)
-is the manager (not the owner) brainwashed to actually be a good manager who helps out where needed instead of just 'supervising'
-What of other staff like hostesses and dishwashers
