Stage hypnosis stories

Hey all, I just joined the Hub and I wanted to start up a discussion on any stage hypnosis stories anybody around here has come across. That's held a special interest for me. On mcstories, there's a particular favorite of mine - Sin-dy the X-Rated Hypnotist. I just wish there was more to it or that the author had written a sequel to see what other shenanigans were in store for the main character. So I'm curious if anyone else here has read that particular story and what they thought of it, and if anyone knows of other good stage hypnosis stories floating around on the net they'd like to share. I have a list of others I've found. Maybe I'll post it if this thread takes off, but most of them don't really hold my interest so well.

There's a pretty recent one by Jukebox that's really damn good, though it kinda cheats a bit since the subs were already hypnotized prior to the show.

Someone already mentioned Queen of Hearts, which is really good! I'll have to check that Sin-dy one out. I hope people come up with some other recs, because in my mind, there aren't nearly enough! I've got some stage hypnosis stories of my own, but they're gay or furry, so pick your poison, I'm sure.

Hmm, Queen of Hearts is a pretty good story. I guess there isn't really any specific laundry list of features I want to see in a good stage hyp story, but there's a few things I tend not to like. Depending on the story, it may not matter though. I generally don't like anything where a guy gets cuckolded by the hypnotist, or some variation of the hypnotist has ulterior motives he or she puts into effect when the show's over. I also don't really like it if they leave permanent suggestions to mess with someone's head afterward. The stories I like the best tend to be ones that focus on the wild kinky shenanigans that happen during the show itself. I also tend to prefer more realistic portrayals of what hypnosis can do. Now that said, there's some stories on my list that still violate some of those preferences, so they aren't really anything that leads to a definite "Nope!" moment. Here's some of what I've found on mcstories as a start:

Sin-dy the X-Rated Hypnotist (we already knew this one)
Busman's Holiday - this is a pretty good one, a little long but worth the read. Also pretty realistically portrayed.
The Girl Next Door - another by the same author as Sin-dy, pretty decent too.
The Show Must Go On - not really my favorite, but I thought I'd mention.
The Measure of a Man
Mistress Mesmera
She Names Him
Excalibur
Hypno-show - also it seems that someone rewrote and expanded this as Mike and Amy: Married to a Hypno-Nympho.
Jenny Loses a Bet - not the most realistic from what I remember, but it's OK.
Making Them Do Things: The Show
Accidently Hypnotized - again, not my favorite, but worth reading.
The Hypnotizing Megan Chronicles - you have to use web archive to find this one (<<web.archive.org/web/20100...eganChronicles/index.html|here>>), since it's off the site now. Only the first two parts deal with a stage show, though, so I've only paid much attention to them. I know the gist of the rest of it, though. Kelly's bitchiness makes you want to smack her by the end of it.

Anyone read any of these?

I've read the majority of these.
GOD I hate Kelly in HMC so much. Why is it that every single person named Kelly/Kelli I've met or heard of turns out to secretly be a massive coont... is it a name trope or something?
ah, whatever.
Good reads/suggestions though.

Oh, cool. I didn't really remember that story (probably because it was like 8 years ago), but it's cool that there is a bit of backstory. Now I'm just hoping we don't have to wait another 8 years for part 3.

I appreciate all of the suggestions.
I think I knew about The Joker before. I didn't read it until now, though, when I heard about Queen of Hearts.
I looked at Falconry fairly recently after I stumbled across this gem on the Hub:

Trilby's stories are always pretty dark for my taste, though. I like stories with more humor aspects and less drama. I hope more artists on the Hub try their hand at recreating scenes from these stage hyp stories. I love seeing others' interpretations of how the characters and everything might look.
I'll have to check out Emily. I don't think I've seen it before. I think I've read Bullgrin before, but I'd have to check.

I only came across Hypnotizing Megan in the past few days actually, so that's been my most recent find. So some spoilers re: Kelly:
The final chapter could've been even more satisfying to read if it focused a bit more attention on Kelly's *ahem* punishment. Heath should've had an arrangement with Wally that Kelly would never be able to refuse a spanking from Heath or Megan (or Dirk, for that matter - he probably deserves a turn too after all of her cheating on him). In fact, she'd positively beg for it instead, but inside, she'd be hating every excruciating second of it. Then have Heath go to town paddling her ass so she couldn't sit down for a month. Mwa ha ha! That's already pretty close to what happens in the story. I would've just liked seeing more of it.

Another comment about Sin-dy is, especially in the second part, it almost feels like the story is a bit rushed. The author could've gone into more details and spent more time on everything that was happening. For instance:
The part at the end where he has to streak back to his hotel room might possibly be the funniest part of the story. It's just comedy gold, and the author could've milked it for all it was worth to make it even funnier. Oh well...
I would've liked hearing more about what happened with the other characters too (particularly the "Carmen Electra look-alike" ;) ).

So this might be a naive or stupid question, but does anyone know if there are ever any real-life hypnosis shows that get close to anything seen in these stories? I was thinking like on a similar caliber to Busman's Holiday. Like something you might expect to find at a place like a strip club or something. I've been looking around for stuff like that for a while, but haven't found a whole lot. There's a small handful of things I could share, if anyone's interested.

I mean, you can search youtube for "stage hypnosis orgasm" and you'll get some hits. Some, uh, some misses, too, but there are a few good videos of it.

Okay, not sure if I should be posting these here, since they don't directly involve stage hypnosis but it does play a factor and I did enjoy them.

Sitting Target:

Long story short, guy has huge crush on his hot babysitter. Problem is, he has trouble just being in the same room as a girl. One night, he notices how susceptible she is to hypnosis after they watch a televised hypnosis show together. From there, he hatches a plan to hypnosis and fuck her.

The author had enough forethought to have the kid plan things out well in advance. Also, it does have a nice twist that turns it into a THR for me.

Two friends decide to audition to become magician's assistance. The audition requires being put into hypnotic trances, which leaves one woman uneasy. The other? Aroused.

Sadly, the author hasn't update this story SINCE 1999, leaving it with only two chapters that I feel end on a bit of a frustrating cliff hanger, so fair warning.

Again, not sure if I should have posted these EMC stories here, but I thought they might fit the theme.

Oh, yeah I know. I meant stuff maybe a bit racier than what you'd find on Youtube, though. Like people stripping down and stuff.
The best example I can think of is an interesting fellow by the name of Don Spencer. Apparently Playboy TV did a special about him. There does happen to be a clip on Youtube (<<www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7IA0gpEatY|here>> - pretty low-res video, though), but this is the censored version. I found an uncensored version of it, but you have to go to porn sites to find it. I'm not sure if there's any rules against posting porn links here (kind of a noob question). But if anybody wants to find it, look for the exact video title "Stage Hypnosis Sex" on spankbang. Maybe later if it's OK to do, I'll post the direct link. He's actually got people naked on stage.
I get the feeling this is probably something most professional hypnotists would keep on the down-low, though. So I'm not sure how that would get advertised even if someone did do shows like that.

Trinkets - another classic from Trilby Else, but again, a dark drama. IIRC, there is something resembling a stage show early on while they're still on the ship, but that's definitely not the focus of the story.

An author by the name of RUHypnotized also has a few stories that have been removed from the site: Hypnotic Playthings 2, Turning the Tables, and Wrestled Under. Overall, I'd say my top three favorites that focus on the wacky shenanigans going on at the show itself are Busman's Holiday, Sin-dy the X-Rated Hypnotist, and the first two parts of The Hypnotizing Megan Chronicles. In my opinion, these are the kinds of stories that other stage hypnosis writers should strive to use as examples. Busman's Holiday I think is the golden standard for realistic portrayals of how hypnosis really works. The Girl Next Door, The Measure of a Man, and Jenny Loses a Bet probably make my top six.
