the next gamepack of the sims 4 might be interesting...
i dont know if any of you guys still play the sims 4, but in two days a new gamepack (not a full add-on like get to work, something smaller) will come out, named "strangerville"

and it looks like it will be a MC/hypnosis related pack, as you can see in the trailer : www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CQ9Gccjs4c

lot of creepy smilling sims, sims walking like zombies, a strange eggs and aliens that might be the cause of all this...

i was not really interested by the sims 4 anymore, but this one might be worth trying.

Huh that's really cool I remember there being an old website that had mods for the sims 2 since there was an official magic expansion pack.

Wish I could find those things hehe

There was also a hypno mod of some sort for the Sims 3, iirc

Was there a need for one?

I mean, just with expansions and DLC, Sims 3 has love spells, friendship potions, stage hypnosis, vampiric fascination, alien mind-control, personality reprogramming (including the option to give the subject a new name), brainwashing via social networking, pheromone-enhanced seduction, and probably some more stuff I'm either forgetting about or never found in the first place...

Oh yeah I'm sure lol, I'm just dimly recalling that someone made something along the lines of a hypno-spiral, but no doubt it was superfluous when the DLC and xpacs came out

Dunno, haven't played Sims 3 in years anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nono that was an actual thing you could just buy from their mini-dlc store.

You're asking this... on a website for hypno-fetishists?

I am asking this as a hypno-fetishist who sunk hundreds of hours into the game, was usually up to some kind of mind-control related shenanigan or another and never felt the game had any shortage of options in that regard.

So yes. Yes, I am.

I'd be interested in seeing what sort of mods and custom content you're using for your sims 4, the few I've found with some degree of mental manipulation don't really do a good job of scratching the hypnofetish itch so far

DLC actually

and I like it because I don't need to go out buying more packs, I stopped after Fast Lane, game was too buggy and I lost interest in the series

Yeah, after looking it up I think you guys are right. I must have been confusing it with a hypno-mod from the Sims 2, that pokemongirl referred to at the beginning.

Having bought and played Strangerville, it's alright.
The MC is less hypnosis, and more possession. The plants growing around town release spores that take control of your body, to grow more. And the actual mood of it is called possessed. I havn't finished strangerville yet, but I'm currently at the point where I'm gathering a group of people to fight off the mother plant. And yes, your sims can fall under the influence of it.
