Your Favorite Pokemon
Don't know if there was already a thread for this, but I'm interested in what Pokemon everyone likes. I like seeing everyone's opinions about Pokemon Sword and Shield, but let's talk about our favorite Pokemon in general.
My favorites are:
Turtwig line: When I started Pokemon Diamond I chose Chimchar at first, but I didn't like how he played. So I started over and chose Turtwig and I instantly loved him. He's become my favorite starter and is the reason why I have come to love the grass starters (I used to go for the fire starters all the time).
Togepi and Togekiss: When we were kids my brother and I collected Pokemon cards. He always got the best cards while I got average. But then I got a rare Rainbow Island Togepi card and I felt so proud of myself. Since then Togepi has been one of my favorite Pokemon, unfortunately it's not that usefull in battle. But then came Togekiss! With fantastic stats and a beautiful design it's become one of my strongest in Platinum.
Eevee and Flareon: Eevee became one of my favorites since the anime episode "The Battling Eevee Brothers" where the kid didn't want to evolve his Eevee even though his brothers wanted him to. It just resonated with me because I saw myself in the kid. Also because Eevee is adorable. I choose Flareon because the general consensus is that it's the worst of the Eeveelutions, and I like an underdog.
Gallade: Not as sentimental as the others I've mentioned, but I really like Gallade. It's super useful in battle and it pays homage to my current job.
Others I like:
Sawsbuck, Braviary, Flygon, Leafeon, Espeon, Milotic, Mantine, Lapras, Lycanrock, Luxray, Ninetails, Noctowl, Aggron, and Talonflame.
