What's something that's frequently done in porn that really annoys you despite it frequently being done without many artists even thinking about it?

For me it's the casual cut to nudity. Like, in a comic or a porn video or something that's a sequential image story of any kind, one shot they're clothed, the next they're naked. For me the getting naked is one of my favorite parts, part of the main reasons I commission more than one image for a story in the first place. But several artists honestly seem to find no value in it and just skip straight past it.

I *HATE* when characters act like something super vanilla is kinky. For example...
"ooohhhhh, she kept the heels on! I'm gonna pop just thinking about that!" when there's no foot/heels fetish stuff otherwise, and it isn't the focus.


I also detest when a text manip does that thing where they give exposition through a character explaining the story to the person that got mind controlled. Like "I'm so glad I made that mind control device through X method, and used it on you in ways A, B, and C. It's amazing that you're my slave now and will do anything I say because pineapples." It just feels SUPER lazy and low quality to me, no matter how good the writing actually is.

I hate it when the fetish I'm there for gets invalidated or ignored. From an old thing that I used to deal with was one person who had a major foot fetish, so you'd end up with a ton of stuff they did where you'd have a character hypnotized just long enough for them to be told, "Oh you don't mind licking my feet or letting me lick yours." I was about to complain about a fetish that isn't mine, then I reread that you're talking about porn in general. So in the general case, I actually don't really like how Hentai and Doujinshi are formatted - not that I don't like the manga style (and indeed, quite a few of them have some really good mind-control), but I just find the tropes commonly present in them to be stupid, or outright repulsive. I don't like the frequent use of ahegao (a silly face rarely turns me on), I find the phrases used during the sex scenes super cheesy, and the tendency to make male characters disgusting slobs is a regrettable thing, in my opinion.

That said, I honestly am not too big of a porn fan in general - I'm very specific in what gets me off, and I prefer my mind-control without sex.

Oh yeah, probably. A common theme is also that these guys would never have a chance in hell with the girls they hypnotize (because as a bonus, pretty much all of them are either insultingly naive - like, 5 year-old child naive - or arrogant cunts), so I guess it's some sort of statement about how haughty girls should be in their place? The main reasons I don't watch real-people porn:
- acrylic. nails. I'm SO stressed out when someone with acrylic nails fingers someone (what if it snaps off?!) or does anything with her hands (what if you scratch them in a sensitive spot?!)
- generic moaning. the same moan, on repeat, 100x. it breaks my concentration and makes me wonder if the video got stuck on repeat, even when in most all modern browsers that record-skip-effect is not a thing anymore. I think you're reading way too much into this. People have fetishes for watching girls get fucked by giant tentacle monsters and even horses. The person fucking them is often just a means to an end of some other bizarre fetish. I figure a hot girl getting fucked by an ugly guy plays into some kind of humiliation fetish or some other thing.
