I noticed that DHB has some stuff on here featuring other users by username. If I upload a commission that features myself or other real people as characters in the scene, what's the best way to do that?

If it's you or an OC of yours, you tag it with your username or the name of the OC followed by _([OC's Owner's username]) (Where the bit in brackets is replaced with what the text says to use, and the brackets then removed (keep the parentheses, though)).

Same deal for other users/OCs of other users.

(Note, some OC tags don't have the "_([OC's Owner's username])" bit, but that's mainly a consistency issue, rather than exceptions to the process.)

Also be careful with art based on real people as there is a rule in regards to that.

Characters based on Real People
Images with characters based on or representing real people are not allowed, unless the person in question is an active and established Hub member.

Okay but lets say that the two characters were, hypnothetically, myself and Sleepystephbot, and that she was in fact the artist. Both of us have accounts on hypnohub and both consent to it. (I'm a card-carrying lurker since 2014!)

What would the actual tag look like?

Well just use whatever name you are ok with for them

so

char:Sleepystephbot

char:FallingInward

or if you want to use another name

char: whatever name (FallingInward)
