I mean, it's not unheard of to have reward tiers in Patreons that are expensive ; depending on the type of content produced, it can be a good way to give access to rewards that, by nature, are limited, hard to make, or should be quite exclusive (such as a spot in the credits for games and the like, or a personal meeting with the creators).
That said, 50$ for just access to a set of comic does seem like a lot, specifically because this doesn't look like the type of content that fits in such a high tier, and this is not helped by the fact that this is double the previous tier, which no other tier does. I think it doesn't really make sense that comics you produce would be 50$, and comic commissions (the tier below it) are 25, unless there's a huge difference in quality or amount between the two.
I don't mean to offend, and you seem to take pride in what you do, so I don't want to be too harsh, but another thing, for me at least, is that these are "Kaa edits" as you put it on your blog. While I don't doubt that you might be good at it, nor that they take some time and effort, it just feels a little greedy to make people pay any substantial amount of money for what are, in essence, glorified photo-manipulations that have very little in terms of actual original, creative content. This is really, I think, what makes this seem too much for me. The whole "setting up a Patreon for paid photo-manips" is already kind of dubious to me, but when you actually combine this with the prices that seem high, it really leaves a sour taste. Especially when artists that actually draw and/or paint their work completely from the bottom up have far lower prices per month, and sometimes have lower prices on individual commissions themselves.
But yeah, you do you, and it does seem like some support you as you have 37 patrons, so I guess something's working.
