Does this also qualify as Hypno/MC?
I have some screencaps from an episode of the 90's X-Men animated series. But before I go posting them and taking up post spaces I just wanted to get a "second opinion" (also so I don't end up upsetting the powers that be who run this site; the admins and fans)

The episode is called "Whatever It Takes", in it Storm and Rogue travel back to Africa to help Storm's home village. There they find her adopted/surrogate son possessed by the recurring villain Shadow King. Storm accepts his "deal" to leave his body if he can possess her. So for most of the second half of the episode is "Storm" behaving evil due to the presence of an evil spirit in her body. Occasionally she will break thru his influence to resist his actions and argue with him.

So the million dollar question does this scenario/episode sound like it can be considered Hypno/MC? Or just "possession"?

You wouldn’t really upset people for posting it. If it stays, it stays. If not, no big deal. We can’t really say unless you post them for us to see for ourselves.

The Hub contains a lot of possession images anyway, and I'd say possession is generally considered a sub-fetish of mind-control, so I don't really think there's any issue here.

After all, technically speaking, someone possessing someone else is mind-controlling them ; it's just that the control extends to the body. In fact, to me, possession is much more directly related to mind-control than stuff like bimbofication, love potions, straight body control, or even realistic hypnosis, where it's less "mind-control" and more "mind manipulation" at best.
