Hi, this is the first time that happens to me, I drawed a growth up version of a character and suddenly people pop up accusing me of pedophile...

I would like to ask how I should react to this situation.

To be honest I didn't expected that happening, I just said "new character and I was thinking about make a pigeon some days ago... let mix both things" :/

My first recommendation is "ignore this dude and get on with your life".

Yeah just ignore him. Aged up versions of characters are perfectly fine by all measures.

not really calling you out it'd seem, just someone clueless about how fast rule 63 can work; by the context of their comment, sounds like they would have said the same for a character who's older in canon

you also wouldn't be the first hypno artist to have troubles with DA; both Rosvo and Jimryu have had trouble with the site taking down their pics

Right, on the subject of lolis (slightly related, though not completely, to this): it's not pedophilia, in the legal sense. The issue with pedophilia is the abuse of minors. It's using minors before they're old enough to make their own sexual decisions in a sexual way. That's why porn with underage people and children is illegal. "Loli" has nothing to do with this, because unless you're of the opinion that cartoon characters can be used against their will, then it's all good.

I felt I needed to get that off my chest. People often confuse "having sexual attraction for fictional underage characters" with "the illegal actions associated with pedophilia". One is only illegal if you actually act out on it, on real (non-fictional) people. Same reason I've never personally been bothered with rape fetishes, or (for that matter) mind-control fetishes, really. Morally abhorrent? Perhaps. But as long as it's in the confines of the bedroom (or the weirdness that is our minds) then really, if you're making a moral judgement on it, you're essentially stopping people from thinking and imagining stuff.
