But I’m curious to hear what other games everyone else liked as their favorites from the last decade that I may have missed or didn’t consider~ So please let me know what you thought were the best of the decade~

LittleBigPlanet 2 (Literally a defining part of my life, but 2011 has soooo many good games, one of my favourite years of gaming)

Mario Galaxy 2 (I always envied my friends for having this one)

Legend of Zelda: Link Between Worlds (Wow. Just... wow.)

Shovel Knight (Virt's soundtrack clinched this on its own, and yes I do count
Plague/Specter/King/Showdown as part of this)

Just Cause 3 (I have never had more fun screwing around with stupid shit)

Owlboy (Y'all are sleepin' on this game)

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (I know I'm cliched. But I also know a masterpiece when I see one. Best of the decade. But the second best of the decade...)

Octopath Traveler (EVERYONE IN THE WORLD IS SLEEPING ON THIS ABSOLUTE CROWNING JEWEL OF A VIDEO GAME. EVERY DOM, PLAY THIS GAME AND GET YOUR SUBS TO PLAY THIS GAME BY ANY SUBVERSIVE MEANS NECESSARY. NO ONE WILL REGRET IT, I PROMISE.)

Kingdom Hearts 3 (...shut up, no you're biased...)

I dunno, but Disco Elysium's gotta be in there somewhere. That game rocks.

I know, right? Sad that BotW and Persona 5 had to be the same year. I wanted to give it some love.

My list is based on my own personal taste and what I was able to get my hands on.

God of War III
Portal 2
Tie between Hotline Miami and Fez
The Last of Us
Shovel Knight
Bloodborne
Stardew Valley
Cuphead
Tie between Red Dead Redemption 2 and God of War
Resident Evil 2 remake

Top three for me are Skyrim, Monster Hunter World and COD Black Ops II.

In no particular order and probably not all of them (because I don't remember all the games I got over the last decade):

Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward (My absolute favourite Visual Novel)
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Mostly great dungeons with a nice artstyle and soundtrack)
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (One of my favourite 2D Zeldas)
Animal Crossing: New Leaf (The perfect game for me to relax with)
Xenoblade Chronicles 1 & 2 (Love both of these games for both similar and different reasons)
Fire Emblem: Three Houses (My GotY of last year and few games have kept me thinking about them for months on end like this one)
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Just very easy for me to just pick up and play)
Kirby Planet Robobot (A VERY solid Kirby game)
Super Mario Odyssey (My GotY of 2017 and just an allaround solid platformer)
Pokemon Gen 5 (The last Generation of Pokemon where my thoughts were 100% positive)
Shovel Knight (Four campaigns of equally great quality)
Miitopia and Tomodachi Life (Very fun and quirky games that most overlooked just because of the Miis)
Kid Icarus Uprising (And absolutely amazing game even if the controls take some getting used to)
Mario & Luigi Dream Team (Though not as great as BIS, it is still an amazing experience)
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (My absolute favourite 2D platformer due to the creative and challenging levels and amazing OST)
Terraria (One of the BEST deals I ever got for a game with how much content and support it has gotten over the years)
Stardew Valley (Haven't played it as much as I might want to, but it's still an amazing game)
Monster Hunter 4U/GenU/World (All three amazing games in their own way)

With my disappointments of the decade being the following:
Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma (Had a lot to live up to, but ultimately didn't meet them due to odd decisions made by the devs)
Xenoblade Chronicles X (Not the biggest fan of Sci-Fi, Overdrive is terribly explained and that game's party member system is absolute garbage)
Paper Mario: Sticker Star (The only thing I liked about it was SOME of the music, the rest was UUGGGHHH)
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (NOT BECAUSE IT'S A BAD GAME, but because this game did not feel like what I expect out of a Zelda game, which was not aided by bland dungeons and shrines and the absolutely overpowered climbing and gliding)

2014 - Age of Wonders 3
2015 - Witcher 3
2016 - Persona 5
2017 - Battle Chasers: Nightwar
2018 - Spider-Man (PS4)
2019 - Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Though I give top honors of last Decade to Persona 5. It has become my all time favorite game, passing Dark Cloud (or Dark Chronicle in the UK) which held that spot for like 15 years(?)

I've never heard of Dark Cloud. I hope one day, a game will come along to surpass Kingdom Hearts 2 for me. That... almost seems as likely as us seeing the Second Coming before we die, but who knows?

Dark Cloud was fantastic. I'd say you should play it (it's available on PS4 as a backwards compatible download) but I think my nostalgia goggles may cloud my view on the systems.

It was a blend of dungeon crawling, hack and slash, scavenging, and city building and it somehow worked. It's one of the best games I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing.

2010 :Neir A game I got on a whim ended up becoming a dear game.
2011 Saints row the third Dumb wacky fun
2012:Fire Emblem awakening I put 3 hundred hours into this alone!
2013 Final Fantasy 14 ARR My main MMO since 2013
2014.South park the stick of truth. Flipping love South Park.
2015 Monster hunter 4 U Played this so much in college with friends
2016 DOOM RIP AND TEAR!!
2017 Neir Automata A sequel to one of my favorite games (Major girl crush on 2B)
2018 Monster Hunter World monster hunter on a console.
2019 Fiinal Fantasy 14 shadow bringers by far ff14s best expansion with amazing story and music.

2010: fallout new vegas
2011: deus ex 3
2012: mass effect 3........except the shitty retroactively-series-destroying anti-thematic incompetent sloppy shitshow ending
so if we judge the whole game including the ending, then 2012: dust an elysian tail
2013: shin megami tensei 4 - 1
2014: transistor
2015: undertale
2016: tales of berseria
2017: nier automata
2018: calfree in chains (shadowrun hong kong user-generated campaign)
2019: romancing saga 3

2010 - Mafia II (Dat menu theme)
2011 - The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
2012 - Borderlands 2
2013 - Skullgirls
2014 - P4AU (Needed to fill that empty void)
2015 - Bloodborne (Thanks friend, I regret nothing)
2016 - Persona 5
2017 - Tekken 7
2018 - Super Smash Bros Ultimate
2019 - Devil May Cry V (All of my YES)

Really though it's a toss up between Bloodborne and DMCV for that #1 spot.
