Hi,

I really enjoyed the works of kamen_writer_mc and kaonashi765 partially featured here, and would like to know more about what program they used to make those 3D images, how it work, what's needed to get similar result (hypno included) and all.
I assume it's "Custom Maid 3D 2", but I may be wrong, or the initial use of the program may have been quite distorted.
Anyway, all information possible for those knowing or even having or using the program.

I haven't played COM3D2 extensively, but there was a Studio mode in CM3D2, that may be what they have used.

I know I tried installing Custom Maid 3D 2 at one point, which I imagine is similar. The whole thing's kind of a hassle, what with all the add-ons, various translation programs, and stuff - I much prefer DAZ studio (though I'd be willing to try it again if I have enough motivation).

I had assumed kamen writer used 3D Custom Girl, which is ancient by internet terms, but still works, I guess.

Isn't there an English version on steam tho? It might not have "everything" and from what I've heard, the translation isn't the best, but it's still English.

They definitely used Custom Maid 3D 2. I can tell by the aesthetic of the models and baclground.



The version I linked should poses all the features and best of all it doesn't need installing to be used.

Oh? I think I pirated the thing - it might not have been available on Steam back then, but if that's true, that's good news.

I thought the CM3D2 model aesthetic was different, but I concede I try to avoid both when browsing vids or collecting models so I'm not actively comparing.

What about the different eye effects and drool that kamen uses in his stuff? Are those able to be done in the base game, or are they part of some mod?

While the base game has a lot of options for eye designs and highlights, the ones kamen uses are probably mods. Luckily adding mods to the game is pretty straight forward.

Got your "best one" working, but it's in japanese, and with what I can understand, can't find the right menu/option yet.
Maybe it's not usable without first having english translation and/or a specific mod, or maybe the thing to create more custom scenes requires to be in the middle of the vn-like game part?
