Where to report bots?
Sorry if this has already been addressed, but is there an official place to report Forum bots?

There are two here on the forum that are basically "working together" to advertise things.

In all of these threads the topic is started by one of two users, "Xiander" or "DLXM". Both of which are accounts formed around a week ago. Both of which have no activity aside from forum posts. And in each and every thread, one of them will start by asking a question, the other will reply after a certain amount of time with a link to some sort of website (Veepn, lootie, etc.)

It's clearly two forum bots at that point considering the two are only in threads together and posting ad-links to sites.

Sorry again if this has been addressed anywhere else, while I've used this site a lot I don't normally report stuff like this so I'm not sure of the proper process.

I wouldn't actually call them bots. It's more than likely that they're random individuals who are being paid to promote random companies on whatever blogs or sites they come across. For now, either link potential "spam accounts" (with relevant examples) to this thread, Poke a Mod thread, or DM a staff member.

Seems that the "What do you do for a living?" posts may have been a similar thing from months ago.

Both accounts that created them were new at the time and have little activity outside of their forum posts. The second topic was created while the first was still on the first page of the forums. Both of the accounts posted advertising links in their responses on the one that remained unlocked.

Ah right. I hadn't been following that thread very closely, though I'm going to ban all of the accounts that put up links.

Done.

What worries me is some of these aren't that weird of a topic on a random-bullshit forum, and there have been very similar conversations on here that got double-digit pages.

I don't know how hard it would be for a bot to datamine the responses it gets to a thread. And that's if these are bots, and not "just" humans that are paid to shill companies (who would have an easier time of it).
