So I just recently finished this British drama series called Utopia and honestly I would probably rank it one of my favourite TV shows ever but unfortunately it didn't really end well. The show got cancelled due to poor ratings which is crazy considering it got such a positive critical reception. In order to help deal with the frustraition of what could've been I wanted to know if anyone else has felt a similar pain over another show, game, movie, etc and want to kinda vent about it.

TL;DR Is there a piece of media that didn't get to properly continue or finish that you're still pissed about?

I was always put off by the ending to the anime Gantz. it is one of my favorite animes but it ends so abruptly, it took me years after i saw it to find out the ending was only for the anime and the manga kept going.

Don't know if that counts but just wanted put that out there.

I LOVED Reboot when I was a kid, and at the time I didn't understand that a show being cancelled was a thing, so I would just watch the reruns for months and months, renting DVDs, doing whatever I could waiting for the conclusion to My Two Bobs that never came.

Also I would commit any crime if it got me a resolution for Sym Bionic Titan.

Never watched the anime, but the manga was fantastic up until the final alien invasion arc

I dont know if they really count, but the fact that hxh and berserk will probably never finish really sucks

I hope it does, but considering how many plot elements theyve introduced in the last arc I dont think he will be able to give them all a proper conclusion, he might finish the succession war but I doubt the dark continent/don freecs stuff will ever get a satisfying explanation.

His main point on why it was stupid was that humans make for terrible snack/fast food. Our life cycle is simply to long for us to be sustainable that way.

Or, some of that stuff might turn out like Heaven's Arena's Floor Masters? I'd don't know, sometimes I think Togashi is really using Hunter X Hunter to create the world's greatest TTRPG that no one has made real yet...
