So like the title says, and as people who've been following me here and on other sites probably know, I've been drawing a lot lately. Mostly as a replacement to my current lack of day job work, I've been regularly getting request ideas drawn daily. I can't promise I can do everything, but I can certainly try to do as much as I can. Like I said earlier, doing art on a daily basis has become the closest thing to a schedule I have at the moment...that and Animal Crossing...

Its a weird situation where honestly I feel extra weird taking on commissions when theres far more important situations going on, in a way it feels like it'd be gross making a profit from all the free time I have? Thats just me though.

There is no ethical consumption under capitalism. Were I not still working, I would be more focused on side projects that would ideally make me money at some point.

I agree with this. Also, I personally commission people regardless of what's going on in the world, so as I see it, it's not so much "making a profit from your free time" rather than "a project that has nothing to do with the quarantine". And hey, if idiots like me want to pay you for your work, why would you refuse?

(it is kind of a neat little side-effect that artists have more time to work on their stuff in this period though, so I will admit I like that, though obviously it doesn't balance out all the negatives brought on by the virus)

Also I hear you I had plenty of free time before the pandemic but now alot of the things that got me out of the house cant do anymore so ya ive trying to find things to keep me buisy which is why i decided to end up doing a pokemon emerald professor oak chalange (it is a very long and tedious chalange cause you need to catch every pokemon species you can on every route your on and evolve them till their final form with exceptions of evolutions not able to get cause trading or item that you dont have , before moving on to next route

Training a mudkip to a swampert on route with level 2 and 3 pokemon that took quite a while also chose emerald instead of ruby or sapfire on purpose cause you need zigzagoon level 41 or above for 10% chance of rare candy pick up so i gotta earn those rare candys XD

Maybe you should consider a Trello board or some other means of showing whether or not you plan on doing a request or not.

You know thats fair, I'm unsure what the best way to go about that where people could easily see it. Its not often that I outright say no to an idea, I keep a lot of the request ideas I get but I'm only one guy, so I can't ultimately do them all.
