Translation.
I need help finding ANY site that can help me translate some of the images I uploaded! Is there any that anyone knows about that works really well?
I’ve been using this workflow:

If you can’t get the text to OCR, or if it messes up some characters, can use the handwriting recognition in Google Translate to get the right ones. Beyond that, Google isn’t the be all end all of language information, so other language specific sites and dictionaries can be useful in refining the not always so intelligible output of this process.

I would recomend mixing multiple sources, mostly <<translate.google.com/|google translate>>, <<romajidesu.com/translator|romaji desu>> (my favorite as it can give per word translation) and <<translate.yandex.com/translator/Japanese-English|yandex>>, but the more sources the better
And for OCR i would recommend using the google translate phone app's character detection as it's really good (don't load the image into google translate directly but rather scan the text from your monitor with your camera, it's stupid but it often gives way better results) and for the characters that aren't scanned properly, use the hand writting thingy to fix them

Usually I do words crawling first with copyfish as it seems to be the best player in the market, try it a couple of times with fewer lines if you can't get the words out. For stubborn words, I'll try to use jisho.com to write it down, either with provided writing tool or by matching characters together. After that I'll try to translate it by pasting the whole sentence to google translate, then try to break the components down to get insight. If there's any phrases that is out of place, I'll try to put them on search engines to see if they sticks as a common phrase or an idiom or something like that.
If it's not too complicated , you can somewhat draw out at least 80% of the meaning out of the contents. The most baneful ones are verbal slangs, even if you are lucky to get a hold of them somewhere on the net, usually they stays untranslatable, some required you to be at least know Japanese to comprehend.

In the end, context is not accounted for beyond the paragraph or even sentence level, so that's something you have to bring to the output yourself. When in doubt and not wanting to spend forever, I roll with my own interpretation. It may not be a particularly exact translation, but hopefully I capture the general meaning most of the time.
P.S. Dunno if there's anything as comprehensive as <<idioms.thefreedictionary.com/|this idiom dictionary>> for Japanese.
P.P.S. Sometimes translating a huge block will give better results out of the machines, and other times it seems like nuance gets dropped in favor of brevity. If it feels like a returned sentence clause or phrase is too short, try pulling it out and translating it by itself.
P.P.P.S. Oh, and then there are the times people like Kamen Writer will portray a robot monotone by swapping the Kana scripts. That completely fucks with machine translation, so if you don't recognize what's being said you have to manually reverse the scripts. Google's auto-romanization subscript helps via a quick copy-paste, but it can still be annoying. Fun fun~
