For those who have seen Fruits Basket

i've only seen a couple of episodes [spoilers]of it but i need to know. In the anime they loom this punishment over you where your memories get wiped if you break spill the secret, i want to know if they ever actually show it. I have so far only heard it being done off screen in like flashbacks but they don;t actually show it which irks me.[/spoilers]

I've only read about the series but But no, I do not think the process is actually shown. Probably to keep willing suspension of disbelief intact.

If memory serves (and my apologies, but I read the manga series...15 years ago?), I believe it's done at one point, but just kind of a quick, I put my hand on your head and then fade to black kind of thing. And no, if you were wondering, that scene is not something that will turn anyone on. At least unless you have a second fetish that involves having your emotions pummeled, shredded, and then drug out back and shot. It hits you in the feels. Hard.

If you mean [spoilers] Hatori Sohma girlfriend, in the anime it showed her kneeled down then he put his hand on her head and it cut away from there, didn't show any emotions being ripped out. [/spoilers]

Sorry, I meant YOUR emotions being ripped out and pummeled. Not a characters. I should have been clearer given the content though! :-D
