Your thoughts on subspace
Easily one of the biggest and freshest additions tk super smash bros brawl has been the subspace, an area that replaced the classic "adventure mode" from melee with an actual story. While brawl was somewhat lackluster in terms of gameplay, the subspace really delivered in my opinion, and the fact that it is entirely nonverbal is impressive. It also contains some aspects of mind control, although they are not exactly what I'm into. It also tends to be really dark, eapecially for a nintendo game filled with cute characters. The scene where an entire civilization of sentient robots is essentially mind controlled into mass suicide to open up the way for the true antagonist is really really dark and pushing the limits of how acceptable mind control as a kink really is in certain situations.

Also completely unrelated and as a side note, subspace is probably the closest we can experience that is similar to the way we portray hypnosis here besides actual hypnosis (and even that is usually mostly out of the subs own free will and rarely like a force of trance taking over), so has anybody had some experiences with subspace? What about the one that's not induced by physical pain (which sounds really horrible to me) but by psychological factors. I did have a somewhat trance-like experience when I was really tired, really horny and roleplaying, but it wasn't exactly the blissful floating that a subspace experience should be. I sometimes feel really really light headed and floaty after a strong orgasm, is this a similar thing? I'm really just curious.

To be honest? Brawl is extremely underrated, and subspace was amazing.

I haven't been cognizant of much after Brawl (since that's when I left college and didn't need to worry about party games) but I thought the whole premise of the Super Smash Bros. franchise is that you, the player, are literally playing with toys, which makes all of the FGC bullshit just sad irony.

Also, "subspace" is common sci-fi jargon dating back probably to before OG Star Trek.

I loved it. The story was decent and it had some great cinematics. Plus it had the cutscene where Fox and Sheik fight only to stop when Peach offers tea.

It was cool once, if only for the spectacle of what it was. Never really bothered playing it through a second time- only revisiting those certain stages to unlock Wolf, Toon Link and Sonic.

Guuuuuuuuuuys I might've gone overboard now with the smash reference and I think it's awesome you actually participate in it, but I really want to discuss the mental state of subspaceyespecially the one that doesn't require pain. Also I'm really drunk right now, so please forgive my spelling.
