Tips on the Tones
It's ya BOI, back with an important questionnaire!

So, to all my singers out there, I have two questions.

1. How do you guys best prepare your voice for singing? What to eat/not eat? What to drink/not drink?

2. How exactly does one regulate the note they hit independent from the volume at which they hit it? Because when I try to hit some slightly high-ish notes, I swear it's so loud it could rouse PG from a trance.

I ask this because I just had the idea to make a cover of "Friend Like Me" and to drop that on YouTube. Maybe I will, and I promise I'll post it here in that eventuality.

I have a couple friends who are into voice acting and voiceovers.... So that's similar I guess?
They always start with some slightly above room temp black tea of any kind, and drink lots of room temp water. And by room temperature, I don't mean lukewarm, I mean they leave the water in the recording space at all times to make sure the temperature of the water and room are almost always the same.
Oh, and they make sure to not eat any scratchy, sour (or overly spicy), or coarse foods for a couple days before recording.
