OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MY GOD THAT DIRECT WAS PERFECT

Not much more prefacing that I or anyone can do. Let's talk some Mario!

I thought it was fine. I'm happy about 3d world and 64, but I wish there was a bit more for "all-stars"

Your are gonna have to change the title as it is too vague.
[edit] thank you.

I'm with Argonis. Not everybody is gonna spot the reference, Sleeperhit.

Can't help but wonder where Galaxy 2 is. Don't people consider that the best one? Normally I'd think it was ridiculous but with Nintendo I feel like theres a genuine possibility that they left it out to maintain the theme of "3s" with the whole 35th anniversary thing

Well, they probably only wanted one. Keeps each game unique this way in the collection. Now, the limited-time offers everywhere are kinda dumb.

Glad to see 64 ported (favorite Mario game!), but the sad reality is that making these a limited time deal is only going to help scalpers and hoarders, while hurting their fans. They hate piracy, yet seem to love encouraging it through methods like this.

3d world looks fun too

Yeah! Did you see that they basically turned on turbo mode? Watch GameXplain's side-by-side, it's at least 30% faster than the original. HELL yeah.

I guess I'm alone in thinking it sucked? An expensive collectors game and watch system, 3d world port with bowsers fury (at least that's something new?) Mario tetris 99 looks decent I guess, but it's going away after a couple months which is laughable. Mario Kart AR is such a dumb gimmick that at first I didn't believe it was real. Then there's a rerelease that they've been milking since the snes. Releasing mario 64, sunshine, and galaxy 1 (and not 2) for 60$ is insane. They aren't even updated nearly as much as you can get just by emulating them now, sunshine is locked to 30 fps and is 720p, while on dolphin you can do 4k 60fps easily. Also it's FOMO shit. I also heard that they might've used a different version of 64 from the one everyone knows, where they patched BLJs and removed the (in)famous "so long gay bowser" line and replaced it with "bye bye"

I think it sucked too.

60 bucks for 3 old games just with a HD filter and limited time is bullshit.

Would you pay $20 for one of them?

Probably depends how remastered it actually is. I'm of the opinion all of these old games should probably be downloadable for free nowadays, at least in their original state, if only in the interest of letting newer players experience historical parts of the industry.

Then again, I don't have the most positive opinion of current copyright laws, to put it extremely generously, so yeah.

Well, Crash remastered was developed from scratch and added new stuff and the game cost $40 (this is a 3 in 1 too).

Activision of ALL companies at least put up the money to publish a Crash and Spyro collection that built each game completely from the ground up and charged $40 for it. If Activision is making a better quality product than Nintendo then it says a lot about how lazy 3D all stars is.

Did Activision develop Crash and Spyro in the middle of a pandemic?
