Fair warning to anyone who wants to check it out, the language is neither "PC" or considering anyone not a dominant heterosexual male. Also, he's reviewing the site as a porn site (obviously). Though the writer does seem to be treat our fetish with an open mind though and ultimately seems to like the site.


HOWEVER, the point of this thread I've created is not to plug someone else's but for this: if you were writing a review of HypnoHub, what would you have to say about it? What do you consider it's pros and cons? And what do you ultimately think of it?

Since all reviews are ultimately a matter of opinion, everyone please:
Keep an open mind and don't take it personally if someone say something you disagree with or find offensive.

I would probably rate it a 3/5, it's good but could use some improvements:

Pros:

* Quality content (most of the time)

* Active and nice community

* The modifications made to MyImouto for here are pretty good (especially the hover zoom)

* Stuff here actually gets translated, unlike many other boorus

* It allows all forms of MC and uses proper tagging to help you find the ones you want

* The mods team seems pretty cool and there seems to almost always have at least one online

Cons:

* How can a software be so broken???

* Data breach go brrrrrrrrrrr (especially that ip address :/)

* No video support, only gifs and images

* The rules are poorly defined and vague so it's more just to how a mod feels (especially used to be for manips, so many good posts deleted with reason "low effort" ;-;). Also some rules are hidden in sub sub sub menus

* I know it's not because the mods wanted it, but the ban of loli / shota content kinda sucks

* More of a personal thing but the API is awful, and the docs are so far off i had to write my own

As one of the very few websites that collects examples of my niche fetish, it's an automatic 5/5 from me. UI issues and stuff don't bother me if I can find stuff I can't see anywhere else.

I don't like number rankings, personally. A review, in my eyes, is a combination of critiques of the objective facts, the subjective nuances, how they mix together, and how the overall product makes ME feel. That being said, I don't mind the UI stuff, I'm not a loli fan anyway, and the QC stuff does kinda irk me... slightly.

But that being said? There's nowhere left to go but up. The UI could feasibly improve if the decision was made to go there, and that'd be great!

It always irked me that "lots of sfw content" was listed as a negative. Speak for yourself, buddy!

I'm with Argonis guys. Enough about the misogynistic man-o-sphere moron whose site I put a link to. That isn't what the thread is about. I only put the link because seeing some review this site is what inspired me to make this thread.

Now, onto something resembling an actual review:

I rate the site as Great! Partly because it is one of the few places on the internet I've found to browse hypnosis related content and be open about, and discuss the nuances of, my fetish for hypnotized woman.

Pros
+ Tag system makes it for ease of finding what you're looking for.
+ Activate and open community with responsive mods.
+ Wide variety of content.

Cons
- Stuff isn't always tagged properly
- Loose rules on what content is "acceptable" for site can make flags feel like Russian Roulette.

Well, that's my opinion of the Hub, anyway.
