Went on there yesterday to see if there were any updates and it had been wiped clean. Anyone know why she decided to delete all her stuff, or if there's an archive of it anywhere else?

It's been empty for like one or two weeks I think. Her twitter has been wiped as well. I think most of her stuff is saved on here. No idea why she wiped everything

Her Discord server is still active and it seems she still posts though they're uploaded by others.

I wish I knew why it happened, it's always scary when this happens to artist's galleries, especially when it's un-announced, and coming from the ones with a big follow base.

i don’t understand artists who nuke all their porn either unprompted or without even bothering to archive it. makes me wonder if these people even care about their fans. Shadydolphin did this last year and didn’t bother to archive his shit. why do people concretely leave the porn scene? just leave your art up and go on hiatus, fuck

I mean, leaving all the stuff up makes sense when you're a sfw artist, but when you're a nsfw one, you might want to not be associated with it at all since it can kinda "tarnish" your name.
Making it completely unprompted is annoying, but they probably don't want their works being archived at all since that would mean still being associated with their name

For sleepymaid's case though, it makes little sense to suddenly delete everything unprompted since he doesn't seem to mind being associated with them (otherwise the posts here would have probably been took down by artist request) but maybe he wants to start fresh on his site without removing everything he has made.

But hey, that's just a theory. A hypno-theory!

Sleepymaid's a she afaik

Despite my growing apart from Game Theory over the years, the sheer nostalgia I have for it and the significance it once held in my life is enough to make me love this joke more than some family members.

So, the long and short of it is that, as far as I am aware, Sleepymaid is retiring that name. she is changing art styles and will probably assume a new moniker, mostly operating in a more SFW space. They no longer wish to be publically associated with the Sleepymaid name, but will still post some doodles or old works here and there with hypno content.

As far as I understand, if you happen to figure out what alias sleepymaid changed too, don't out them. It isn't what she wants. If we all truly support Sleepymaid then we need to respect that and wish her luck in her future endevors.
