Okay, can we just admit that none of us could have predicted a flawless transfer of Animaniacs humor to modern subject matter looking like that specifically? They still got it.

Honestly from the trailer I can say I'm impressed. And it works because Animanics was always kind of... trendy, I guess. They usually tackled issues and concepts that were modern (at the time), as well as some just outright wacky episodes.

It also helps that it never had an overarching story so it lends itself to modification.

The Animaniacs specifically seemed to be focused on movies, so my concern is there am no movies.
