It was to lose weight and I only heard about it. I didn't listen to it (mostly because it would just be for the hypnosis itself and not for the content) and I'm kinda scared of ACTUALLY going under since I just love to imagine myself mind controlled, but it would be kinda hot if half the city suddenly stands up to follow the orders of some new leader.

Not gonna lie, while I really like hypnosis as a kink, it straight up terrifies me as a concept IRL and in non-kink stuff (such as the subliminal stuff Vault-Tec used in the "Vault-Tec: Among the Stars" attraction in Fallout 4's Nuka-World DLC).

A radio station in my area did something similar once. I think it was a really stupid idea though, what if somebody went under while driving? Even if the odds of that happening are almost zero, i can't believe that this is allowed in my country.
