Definitely getting it, but after Sword and Shield I'm not that trusting in gf anymore. Sword and Shield had great potential, and a fair share of the game was pretty good. Only later in the game it became extremely apparent that they simply couldn't finish their game in time, and I think that shows best after the 5th gym, where the entire game suddenly rushes everything in an insane pace. A fair share of the game just feels rushed and unfinished, and the way they dealt with the national dex was just shady, to the point where they acted like EA.
Not getting all the mons into your game is one thing, but then claiming you purposely cut the dex in half only to release paid dlcs with the remaining mons for half the game's price later is just... Not a good behavior. Especially since it was obvious they planned the entire natdex for the games anyways and just made it sound like "yes we, the incredibly benevolent gf, have listened to your desperate pleas, and for only half the games price we will give you an opportunity to catch the rest", when in fact it was more like "sry we couldn't finish the game, gib more money plz".
Also the sword and shield trailers revealed tons of graphical glitches and weird things, and while I didn't care that much back then, I remember those pointing it out being talked down with "duh, they just presented a beta, it's not like these glitches will be in the final game, dummy". Surprise, they were in the final game. The graphics from the trailer did not get polished.
And as a competitive player, dynamax was an utterly unbalanced mess and I'm hoping they'll cut it for the remakes.
As such, I am kinda wary of the games, but I'm still getting them, and dp were great games.
Also, sadly no shining diamond, and fuck yes more dawn content.
