Now, why make this into a fourm post? Mainly just because I like hearing other ideas and I figured I throw out a few of my own.

First of all, to keep stakes high, if you're hypnotized, you're hypnotized for the whole game, no breaking it. Second, each hypnotizer can't just instantly throw someone under, otherwise they could just hypnotize a lot of people without much effort. Thirdly, the hypnotized will work within the best of their normal abilities to make sure their master isn't caught. Lastly when a hypnotizer failes, they'll be "executed" in a way that invloves their own method, karma at it's finest. (If I could write, that would make for a fun story).

So basically, what I want to hear is just anything really. What talent you might have or want, what other talents would be cool, ideas to make this game more balanced, ect. I don't expect this to get anywhere but it'll be fun to make exist.

trying to set categories for each character, Oogami would be the female with most willpower but im stuck between taka and byakuya for the male with most willpower (although it would probably be Hagakure (tbh tbh i just really want hagakure in a spotlight because this topic fits his talent perfectly))

We could probably get Ikusaba to rat out the mastermind with hypno pretty easily so that wont be a problem

Yamada is also in a wierd spot, there probably would be some U-B but at the same time Yamada would never hypnotize someone

Naegi-Fujisaki-Fukawa-Asahina-Kuwata-Ikusaba are probably the most likely to be hypnotized

Sayaka picks between Naegi or Kuwata

and i have 100% no idea where to put Owada

Owada I think would be someone who wouldn't want to brainwash, generally hypnosis ain't apart of the bro code. I think due to his angry nature he'll have a tough armour as it were but as soon as that cracks he'd be easy pickings.

I think Kiyotaka would have slightly more willpower but due to Byakuya's more aloof nature, the latter would be harder to brainwash.

Also I think that Genocide Jack would be too crazy to hypnotize, but nobody would take that risk but she's not intersted in the idea either, she would just rather kill outright but that's agaisny the rules, lol.

I think Sakuya would pick Makoto if she didn't know about the class trials like in canon but otherwise would go with Leon since he's not someone who almost obesses over the girl. Since the two were close it would be a risk to have her do that.

I think that Junko would also forcably hypnotize Mukuro into not being able to tell anyone. If we're going the "slave to all" punishment, then Junko's likely the one enforcing that.

Yeah youre right about owada but i feel like in this setting since owada would be tough to crack and if he got hypnotized he would still suck at lying no one would even bother with him

Im thinking of this thing as a game rn, if it was a game i think it you would get to choose wether you want to be hypnotized (play as naegi) or hypnotize someone (play as someone like hagakure or yamada). i feel like that would also affect wether maizono chooses kuwata or naegi.

and i think enoshima might just be crazy enough to let someone hypnotize her, but i also feel like she would have 15 tonns of willpower. i dont think she would hypno someone

If this was a game, you'd play as a survivor haha. Kiyotaka or Sakura would make the most sense. If we were lucky enough to be able to pick, I think the game would have to be so funidmentally changed that it would be weird.

Like one trial or you could go throygh the game as per normal but the game gives you an option every time you start a chapter and who to hypnotize. Though the amount of options there makes it feel like an outside sandbox mode would be the best place to do that . Like school mode or smth. Whole the main story is you not doing hypno stuff and trying to escape (but you can still use the hypno'd students to do stuff if you want)

step 1: hypnotize a random person or the people who are willing to be hypnotized
step 2: get the people you have already hypnotized to convince the other students to also be hypnotized (repeat step 2 until you cant convince people anymore)
step 3: use your army of hypnotized students to force the remaining students into hypnosis one by one

now you control everyone and can ensure your and all others survival

moral of the story: get more people into hypno and we can avoid tragedies

what bugs me the most is how people even figure out that someone has been hypnotized, i mean will it be something like the body discovery announcement, cant they just hide that they have been hypnotized? I think something cool would be that instead of saying someone has been hypnotized after someone has been monokuma just says it as soon as they have been hypnotized or maybe like 10-20 minutes after (let them have some fun first) but monokuma doesnt tell who has been hypnotized or where they are, he just goes ''someone has been hypnotized and they have to figure stuff out from there''

That's the point. The hypnotized doesn't want their master to get caught so they'll try and hide it. The idea would be that after say, a range between 6-18 hours, Monokuma would annoucne that a successful hypnosis has occured. The players would have to figure out who was the hypnotizer (the hypnotized would be revealled either way) and when they're successful, the hypnotizer would be "punished" but instead of death they become a hypnotized slave to everyone else, as does the person who got hypnotized.

Also, I would love to make this a fanfic, but I am not great at constitany or writing. I was also thinking of OCs and the like to fill the role with hypnosis themed talents, but not great with that either haha. I can still give my discord if you wanna talk about that more but I can't promise thag anything much will come out of it.
