Maki was my favorite character before I dropped this show. I wish this show was better...

Specifically, I wish Maki and Tamaki weren't treated like garbage by the other characters and the universe itself.

Pretty much everytime Maki kicks ass (cause she always does) Shinra and Arthur go out of their way to imply she's ugly or manly.

Its definetly more about Arther's character than Maki or the show itself. But it happened often enough where I went "Ok why is this something that HAS to keep happening"?

They did? That's odd... I'd think Shinra would have learned his lesson after last time... Arthur though, wouldn't be surprised in the slightest.

Wait... did they actually call her ugly/manly more than once, or did they say something that triggered her Edward Elric syndrome?

He's also the biggest idiot in all of anime. Never attribute malice to an act that could just as easily be explained by stupidity.

And for those who have never seen it, I'm not kidding about him being the biggest idiot in all of anime: Guy literally nearly got himself killed because he forgot which hand was his dominant one... Despite using a sword as a weapon!!!
