He conducts tests on the test subjects that enter the deep sea metro and turns successful test subjects into a special mind controlling ink ([[sanitized_ink|sanitized ink]]) by blending them up. He then uses this ink to "[[sanitized_(splatoon)|sanitize]]" [[octarian|Octarians]] and [[octoling|Octolings]].
He almost killed [[agent_8_(splatoon)|Agent 8]] and [[captain_cuttlefish|Captain Cuttlefish]] by luring them into one of his giant blenders. Luckily, [[agent_3_(splatoon)|Agent 3]] saves them just in time. However, this knocks out Agent 3, meaning Agent 8 has to leave Captain Cuttlefish with Agent 3 while Agent 8 makes their way back to the surface. While Agent 8 is on the way back to the surface, Commander Tar Tar somehow uses the sanitized ink to mind control Agent 3, meaning Agent 8 has to saves both Agent 3 and Captain Cuttlefish.
