Marie is a female Inkling and is one of the Squid_Sisters|Squid Sisters, a fictional band in the Splatoon franchise made up of Marie and her cousin Callie_(splatoon)|Callie. Marie is also Agent 2 of the New Squidbeak Splatoon, lead by Callie's and Marie's grandfather captain_cuttlefish|Captain Cuttlefish. According to Marie, Callie was the one who got Marie to join the New Squidbeak Splatoon.
Marie is also responsible for recruiting agent_4_(splatoon)|Agent 4 to the New Squidbeak Splatoon during splatoon_2|Splatoon 2's main single player story mode.
