protip, putting a frame that negatives the image for a second will not fix the thumbnails, now we know

Jebus, the GIF thumbnail bugs start to freak me out <.<...
I'm starting to get the feeling that the devs never should have released the current version of Imoutobooru without at least another 3 months of proper testing... so many bugs...
Love the GIF by the way.

That photo-negative thumbnail is kind of unsettling though. Did the hub get haunted during Halloween or something?

Oh wow, I'm really starting to get jealous over all these animated GIFs popping up now. :c

those damn thumbnails (ã€ã‚œãƒã‚œ)ã€
but making gifs like this arent hard at all, just a bit more time consuming.
All I'm doing it basically fading a sequence of manips one after another with slight differences. Just learn how to tween and animate with photoshop and it's easy once you jump into it.

Unfortunately, we're the ones who do the proper testing.

Relative to your skills, of course. Although, my problem is, when I see how much saving as a gif lowers the quality of the image, I decide I don't want to do it anymore.
Anyway, YAY! More KanCol. Can never have too many hypnotized fleet girls.

...Alright, alright, fine. I'll fix it...
Unfortunately, we're the ones who do the proper testing.
'Tis the truth.
Edit: Thank you for making this! I may have found out how to avoid the error because of this test of yours! XD
I realized that only the negative layer was shown as the thumbnail, and without corruption to boot, so I replaced that negative layer with a copy of the background layer, which resulted in a proper thumbnail of the uncorrupted background! It would seem that it just uses the last layer (at the top of the layer list in GIMP) as the thumbnail.
Do this next time you create an animated GIF just so we can see if it works, and this wasn't a fluke. :D
If I'm right, this bug can be used, amusingly enough, as a feature where you can choose which frame of the animation you'd like to display as the thumbnail. It would have to be a complete frame, though.
Edit 2: [LOLI WARNING] It does seem to fix that error, after all. It also worked for post #10521.

I totally get that, when I finish my edits and see all my lovely glows and gradients become a bunch of noisy dots it is a bummer, I just try to find whichever diffusion filter makes it the most presentable and accept it at this point.
