Anyone know what's up with the bricked forum post formatting? As in things like bold, italics, and <<links|like this>> not working. I know that the previous syntax is probably gone with the old website, just wondering if any replacement exists or if it will be re-implemented.

So nobody thought about making sure at least the sticky threads would go through the migration unharmed.

Because images get deleted that are not against the rules. I have seen images deleted for reasons such as "made me uncomfortable" and "low resolution" - when the image was in its native resolution!
Further, comments and tags may contain valuable information about the image, and source links allow it to still be accessed if necessary.

That's a different issue; you're conflating the two together.

It is not a separate issue; the change means that when posts get deleted for spurious reasons there is no record of them.

"The delete function should delete things" is not a subjective discussion.

I don't mean to indulge in the chaos. However I just wanted to say that I would be very grateful if the feature to search through favorites was re-implemented somehow.

I am aware that changes needed to be made and is actually good to see that you care enough about your users as to prevent site vulnerabities with the previous platform.

That's not how that works. When the delete function has historically not deleted metadata, deleting metadata is generally a step back.

The delete function deleting things it's supposed to delete seems like a pretty big step forward to me

Few questions:

1) Is there chance that our old blacklists are brought back? For now, having to rebuild them with no backup means we again stumble onto stuff we blocked for a reason :/

2) Also related to blacklists, I've noticed that option to temporarily supress them is gone?

3) Adding videos is nice, but is there plan to allow them being downloaded?

There's a temporary mirror of the old Hub that's still available. I just used it to transfer my old blacklists.

and you can download video by right clicking on original image and clicking save as.

It might have been said but I wanted to know, does anyone else see a weird favorites section. There are some pictures I have never even seen before in my favorites. And no there is not someone else on this account or something like that.
