Sure, anything that could help people get that feature back in some form should be much better than not having it at all!

I've never been a big user of it myself, I just figured I'd make the request too possibly help out those who did and are missing it.

You ask, we deliver.

As you'll notice there's been some 4 new buttons added to the post list, these buttons will take your current search query and do some quick behind the scenes magic to perform a popularity search with them, limited to the last 10, 50, 100 pages or all time.

It's not quite a replacement for the popular tab of old but it should be plenty useful regardless.

The first version of the popularity search was admittedly a bit simplistic and not that great, so I went ahead and improved it a bunch!

Now when you visit the post list you'll see a new option in the navbar called Toggle Popular Search, clicking this will reveal a number of options underneath the normal search window that allow you to configure precisely how you want your search to work.

Using the options you can:
* Pick the page to start the search from
* Pick the page to end the search on (or 0 for everything)
* Choose whether to use all posts or only the search results when deciding what pages to use (e.g. posts in the last X pages or the last X pages of the search results)
* Quickly jump between ranges (e.g. jumping from page 1-10 to 11-20)

These options will automatically apply to any searches you perform as long as the feature is enabled, to disable it you can simply hit the navbar option a second time and the options will go back to being hidden.

It seems your update to add a popular search button has messed up the favorites button as clicking that just gets rids or adds the nav bar .

Would it be possible to add a "preview comments" feature to the user script? I know that wouldn't make up for the fact that we can't edit or delete our comments but it would help, I feel.

I'm sure it's possible but since the code for parsing comments exists on the server (as far as I'm aware) I'd have to build something from scratch which is more work than I'm willing to put into a feature like this. At least at the moment.

The implied tag system from hypnohub.net/index.php?page=forum&s=view&id=106126 has been officially added.

This new feature will automatically go through a post's tags and add additional ones based on a list of rules either baked into the script or available through your profile settings/the userscript settings or both.

To use it, simply edit the tags on a post and choose your desired mode before submitting the edits.

Added a new option to the settings page that when enabled unhides child posts from the main page.

* Added a fallback to the image footer (mostly relevant for mods)
* Updated the mail indicator to be more in line style wise with the rest of the site and to be less of an eyesore
* Updated the unhide child post setting to be more consistent
* Fixed some minor cosmetic issues

Would it be possible to make it so that image thumbnails on the site show the number of comments on them? Similar to how the images show the score.

Unfortunately not, the score I can update because it's included in the page itself and the resultion I can ask about once and save into the cache.

For comments I'd have to ask the site about each image separately every time to keep it updated.

Would it be at all possible to add a feature for navigating favorites lists where you can select a page to jump to? Over my time here I've gotten well over 100 pages and moving by at most 4-5 pages at a time isn't convenient

Yeah, it's annoying. I've been navigating by changing the number in the favorites url. Go to your favorites, then add "&pid=[number]" to the url, and it'll go back [number] posts. The site already uses this if you go to prior pages of favorites. For me, page 2 has &pid=50, page 3 has &pid=100, and so on.
