hypnosis where you least expect it
I'd basically like to ask the community if there were ever times where you'd be watching something that wouldnt normally have anything to do with hypnosis and randomly find something mc related, specifically on youtube or other video related mediums, good example would be in www.youtube.com/watch?v=onrX5ZURtek&t=301s

Mines WWE

Last year they had a wrestler, Alexa Bliss, perform hypnosis on some of her rivals. Three I remember were Reggie, Nia Jax and Zelina Vega. It was a dumb angle ngl.

There's a gif of her hypnotizing Zelina Vega on the hub:

Craig of the Creek is a pretty grounded show. Most things that happen in it are based on reality, aside from a few 4th wall gags.

That's why it was so weird when the episode "Silver Fist Returns" had actual, for real hypnosis and mind control. That caught me off guard.

In the recent horror film MEN, there was a scene in it where the main character Harper (played by Jessie Buckley) is briefly put under a spell by The Green Man (played by Rory Kinnear) when the latter blows some sort of pollen in her face. She's put under some kind of trance but walks away from The Green Man and when he tries to forcefully take her away, she snaps out of it and slices his arm in half with a knife. Unexpected but neat treat for us hypno fans in a film that largely pretty unpleasant and unsettling.

I was rewatching Homestar Runner cartoons a few months ago, and I had forgotten there's at least three episodes with a brief but definite mention+visual of hypnosis. It's the holiday cartoon "Fall Float Parade" and the Strong Bad Emails "cartoon" and "what i want".

If anyone else wants a nostalgia trip, their website is still up and largely functioning, thanks to a Flash emulator. They also have a youtube channel, but that misses out on all the bonus Easter eggs the originals had.

I was surprised recently by a sudden mind control scene in the game Bug Fables.

The party completes a fetch-quest to return some stolen fabric to a shopkeeper named Kali. Once you do, she blows some nice-smelling pollen or something on the heroes, which causes Vi to sneeze violently, fall down, and break an expensive vase. This makes Kali VERY mad, and she blows some more pollen on the heroes that takes control of Kabbu's body and forces him to fight Vi and Leif alongside Kali. Kabbu seems to be aware of his actions, but unable to stop himself. Once you defeat them, you get a lore book as the quest reward, and Kali kicks the party out of her shop.
