Will you please talk about what happens in visual novels like those?

A long time ago I played one called Critical Point. After World War 3 settled into a mere cold war, the factions on earth have even divided up the moon amongst themselves. You are an investigator for the military police. You are sent to your factions moon base to investigate outbreaks of sexual insanity that are undermining your nation's position.
Also worth noting, due to various psychological factors, most men are unsuited to long term work in space. Which it the game's way of hand waving why 95% of the base personnel are women.

If there's any VNs with stuff like Prison Battleship's hot brainwashing scene, I'd love it. Big fan of brainwashing chairs.

Here's a list of the ones I own and have found to be quite good:

Prison Battleship Series (1,2,3 and Academia) - (Sci-Fi futuristic setting where you use technology to brainwash multiple different girls each game into doing progressively more and more lewd things. To get these in English you'll probably have to buy the Japanese originals and then download fan translation packages.)

Snow Daze - (Stuck inside due to a snowstorm you play as a character using a trance inducing metronome he's built to entrance all your older "step" sisters and mother into slowly becoming your slaves.)

Gakuen Saimin Reido - (An oldie but a goodie (at least in my mind), you play as a male otaku high school student (though I don't think you ever see the protags face in the visual novel) who's been sent a trance inducing phone by your inventor uncle which you use to enslave multiple different girls both at and away from your school. Unfortunately, there is no English fan translation of this game as far as I know so the only way to get it into English is using software like Textractor to extract the text from the game then run it through google translate for you automatically. Not ideal but better than nothing, maybe.)

Kyonyuu Elf Oyako Saimin - (Fantasy/medieval setting, you play as a human male who lives in the forest in an elf inhabited land, one day you meet an elf witch who gives you a magical ring which allows you to control other elves. With this new power you walk into the nearest elven city and take control of the queen, her daughter the princess and their dark-skinned guard captain. Afterwards you proceed to train them into becoming your slaves. This is another one that I don't think has a fan translation for it so it will also need Textractor or similar software to read in English.)

Saimin Secret Desire - (In this game you play as a male high school student (who's shockingly not an otaku!) that sets up a hidden audio system in the school nurses office, playing subliminal audio files for girls who come to use the beds in the office to take a nap during long school days. With these files you change the girls perception of what's normal to make them do lewd acts for/with you. There is an official English translation available for this, you can either buy it in English directly or if you already have the Japanese version you can download the English patch for free. This one is mostly added because I like the artist for this VN, Aiue Oka, the same guy who wrote/drew stuff like "Revenge! Bullied Hypnosis", "Hypnosis Counseling", "Moonflower" and "Family Control". The story/scenarios are ok so far in the game, but since I haven't finished it yet it's lower down on the list.)

Saimin Yuugi - (This is also quiet an OG mind control visual novel, but it's pretty awesome so far! The setting is that you play as a male student at a high school who likes doing magic tricks, especially with coins. One day he learns how to do hypnotism and starts using it to control his classmates and teachers into doing lewd stuff with/for him. Unfortunately, there is not really any full English translation out for this yet, there have been multiple attempts over the years to do so and recently there has been a new go made at it, this time making the files open source in the hope that even if the current team fades away, another can pick up where they left off in the future. This is at the bottom of the list only because I have only played the few scenes that have so far been fen translated and nothing else. So far, it's pretty great! But I can't speak for the game as a whole, so I'll put it down here out of caution.)

There's one project that flew under the radar that I think is interesting. By our old friend Hypno Sushi (or egarashinai).
It's called "any-time hypnosis." That's just google translate, not sure what the actual title is supposed to be.

Not entirely sure what the plot is but it looks like you're a school counselor or something and you hypnotize this one tomboyish girl and her mom. I can't understand/read what's going on but the artwork and expressions are great.

The gimmick behind it is that, during certain points in the story, you can hit a trigger that causes the person to go into a trance mid conversation. Depending on what trigger you do, it can result in variations. In the first instance of this, you can hit 1 of 2 triggers during the conversation to make 1 or both of them enter an empty eyed state or one where they just go cross-eyed and have their tongue hanging out. In another part of the game, you're talking with the mom and at any point, you can snap your fingers and have her give you a blowjob mid-convo. It's pretty interesting and I'd love to have someone translate it but I don't even know who would be willing to do such a thing. It's very short by Visual Novel standards but it's still a big chunk of text.

There are a few caveats though. For one thing, only the mom has any dedicated content. The daughter is severely underused and the game was released in 2020 so I doubt anything is gonna change. The other thing is that it's kinda buggy. There were a couple of times where using the triggers could cause the dialogue to stall, forcing you to reload a save or start over. If you decide to try this, I recommend keeping a backup save every so often.

Hypno Sushi does a lot of quality work. Shame we can't post their stuff on here.

The Soushinjutsu series contains, hands down, the highest quality brainwashing/mind control* scenes in any VNs I've ever tested, and I've looked through quite a few. There's 6 games with an overarching story between them, though you don't need to play them in any specific order. If you don't speak Japanese, I doubt you'll pick up on much of the story since these are beefy VNs with real stories (that happen to be based around brainwashing/mind control and also have R18 content). I imagine that they'd still be somewhat enjoyable without any Japanese knowledge if you're willing to use the visuals and sound to sort of "make up" or guess what's happening. For that, you could easily download a completed save and browse the scene replays. (Or you could get a scene translated for you *wink wink*)

*Brainwashing/mind control are very different from hypnosis in terms of method (in Japanese, at least). Since these games are focused on brainwashing and mind control, you can expect to see drugs, technology, magic and other far-from-reality methods in use. In hypnosis-focused games, you get more "traditional" methods like swinging a pendant, using a penlight and classic breathing/relaxing methods. For hypnosis, I'd suggest the Saimin Jiken/Yuugi/Enbu set of games.

It looks to be a basic hypnotherapy counselor story with some implication of a "mysterious" power allowing such hypnosis acts to happen. It's not very specific though. In the description it literally lists it as a game made specifically for people who have a hypnosis fetish, so I doubt it has any real story. I have played some of Hypnoscenium, also by them, which does have a real story, so maybe they just wanted to make a pure fetish piece this time around? All just guesses though; you might need to check it out for yourself.

Not really any special power, just hypnosis. It does make a point of saying that the two main targets are especially good at being hypnotized (one is very trusting, the other has a strong imagination). He only released one of the routes, sadly. Hopefully someday the other route (and harem route) gets release, but at this point I'm not holding out too much hope.
