1Super Mario Odyssey is a [[Nintendo]] game part of the [[super_mario_bros.|Super Mario Bros.]] franchise; it was released in 2017 for Nintendo Switch. Plot: [[Bowser]] has kidnapped [[Princess_peach|Princess Peach]] yet again and plans to marry her. Bowser has also kidnapped [[Cappy|Cappy's]] sister [[Tiara_(mario)|Tiara]] to form part of the wedding dress, which Bowser also stole. During a fight with Bowser, Mario gets knocked off Bowser's airship and lands in a far off place called Bonneton, a place located in the Cap Kingdom . There, Mario meets Cappy, a ghost in the form of a hat. Cappy and Mario quickly team up as they have a shared interest to save their loved ones. Cappy allows Mario the ability to "cap-ture" things. The "cap-ture" ability allows Mario to possess just about anything and have full control over it. After teaming up, Mario and Cappy then go on a long odyssey to save their loved ones. Along the way, Mario and Cappy go to New Donk City, a place located in the Metro Kingdom. There, Mario meets his first love interest [[Pauline]] who is now the Mayor of New Donk City.
