I now have my own computer, rather than one stuck in the living room, which will be in my room within the month (probably). Then I will have Microsoft Paint instead of this cumbersome iPhone app, and I will be able to really write some text.

Download GIMP. It's free. Bit of a learning curve but it's worth it. If you need any help with the program, feel free to message me.

So much this. I recommend not even bothering with trying to mess with MS Paint if GIMP is available to you. It's actually fairly simple to learn most of the features. You just can't let yourself become overwhelmed by the options you have. Mess with things one option at a time and you'll find yourself learning it well.
