Unless it attacks you in your sleep, it stands no chance in a fight. If it parasitizes a human it can absorb their memories and then blend into human society. It's then extremely dangerous. Having the ability to absorb memories, they have been known to be used in interrogations, as spies, or as sex slaves. The parasitized section (the tail) is its weak point when exposed.
