Pop-Ups Galore! (Help please)

Ever since the site got re-booted or something, I've been getting pop-ups everywhere. Mostly for "Cartoon Tube", and recently for the "secret for my manhood".

Is irritating. -_-#

Anything I can do to make them stop??

Get malwarebytes and scan your shit. It's possible some adware's gotten on your system. And use adblock and noscript, that kills almost all adverts.

I'd go with Ethereal. This site doesn't deploy many ads (one that i've noticed, and which is non-intrusive enough to bypass adblock), so you're looking at a bigger problem.

I get these on my phone since it doesn't have AB. You're fine, just get/update adblock if you don't want them.

I'd run Malwarebytes even if you think you're fine. I'd also run Spybot Search and Destroy. Running both of these every so often is a fairly important computer maintenance task.

Not much for iOS. And no, they're the same cartoontube ads that run on all the r34 sites or whatever slayer owns. Like I only get them on his sites, only on my phone, and they're just about the only pop-ups I ever see.

Huh. I've literally never noticed them (on other Slayerduck-owned sites), and I don't use an adblock software. It could be that I've seen them and they never bothered me - I'm used to dealing with ads by now - but I just don't recall them.

Reversed1, I'd still run the two programs I mentioned anyway just for basic maintenance purposes, but from the sound of things your best bet is doing what Ethereal suggested and using/updating NoScript or AdBlock.

Could be you having a different browser version (dunno what you use) but you should probably be aware that yes the site does have hilariously terrible popup ads.

I mean, in my chrome it tells me whenever i block an ad, keeps a running tab for each session. I navigated through a few pages to get here (loading Hypnohub as my first, since Chrome is my porn browser), and it still says zero. It never tries to get me ads, except a banner to other r34 sites sometimes.

Chrome blocks/should block pop-ups like these automatically. It's not ABP catching them so it doesn't add to the count. Seriously, there are ads. Dig out IE and go to /post and you'll see shit like LIKE CHINESE WOMEN?

Most ad networks are scum of the earth, if nothing else because they're cavalier as hell about they're basically an open sewer of unsecured Javascript and http-in-https pages.

The worst you get on iOS is ads that force open a page on the App Store. Android is much worse, of course, but that's what you get for buying a phone ruled by the CADT paradigm.

I'd say we've got more than a few reasons to say that about these since they seem to be directly promoting fucking slavery. "Our members trade sex for living space!" What the fuck? Like I'm no SJW or even anywhere CLOSE to tumblr levels of getting offended by shit and it is STILL fucking disgusting that Slayer is letting those run on his sites. I mean, obviously they're just scams, but it's still not really okay to have that shit in big bold print on the top of the page.

I think slayer can't really do much about the content :\
I think he simply adds the ad-code and they toggle the ad similar embedding YT videos
