Hi ken penders. What are you doing here?

In thar I’m assuming ken penders wrote the issue this is from, simply due to someone having personal enmity with knuckles

Actually this was a backup story during the 25 Years Later event, Ken had officially stopped working on archie 7 issues before this, being replaced by a young Ian Flynn, who you may know still writes for Sonic comics today.

God, I have the saga book that has this as one of the stories. I didn't like it when I first read it, and I don't like it now.

Worth noting that Flynn wrote the DIALOGUE for this one but not the script itself; that was done by "Romy Chacon" (apparently a pseudonym, though who it belongs to is unknown; some fans suspect it was former editor Justin Gabrie, but there's no concrete evidence on the matter), and was likely a backlogged story written prior to Flynn having joined the comic (for various reasons, the comic was VERY prone to running those sorts of older submissions during the time this was published).
