Stage Hypnosis
I wonder how many here have actually seen a stage hypnosis show. Do you watch any on YouTube? Do you have any favorite stage hypnotists? I personally enjoy Alan Sands, but one his routines appeals to my kink, so I'm biased. :P

Darren Brown I'd say. There are some videos of him trying some exceptionally crazy stuff. This one time he applied the whole hypno-assassin manchurian thing with success.

In my life I've been to 3. One at a resort town (I was in the audience, my wife was on stage) and two at college. I was on stage for both, though the second I started in the audience and dropped during the induction phase. The hypnotist insisted the audience follow along if they felt inclined.

Of the three I'd say the one I wasn't on stage for was the most professional show and the first one I participated in was the best at what he did. I have most memory of the final one and he wasn't as fun or professional as the others.

I'm always on the look-out to see more shows but I have no idea where to find them.

I often look up stage hypnosis shows on YouTube, but I would never, never, never, never, NEVER go to one myself.

I also find myself so intensely jealous of bellchan right now in many ways

Don't really have a favorite stage hypnotist. While in college after a meeting, I went down to see one of my friends up there. She did earn a new nickname from me but afterwards we talked and I got her under and brought back a trigger for fun. Although I used it once in public.

awwwwman I love stories involving audience members going under then being brought on stage, i want more stuff with that online.

I love stage hypno, making people go all stiff and stuff, I would really not kno what to do if i had a chance to go to one in fear of getting a little stiff myself during the show

I saw one once at a renaissance fair. Or to be fair it was more like part of one. I think the guy even made a remark about how some people use it for kinkier things when explaining it's potential.

This is why I will never volunteer for a show as much fun as it probably would be.

There's a guy from Spain, name's Tony Kamo. He has been on many talk shows including europe, south and central america.
Never been to a live show of his.
Language is spanish, but take a look if you'd like.

I'll confess stage hypnosis is my main thing. Maybe it's just what I noticed first, or it was the only thing available, but without exaggeration I've been interested in it since as long as I can remember, even scouring books on psychology and stuff as a kid for any information on it. So yeah, most of my leanings in hypno are the most G-rated things; doing silly things is my thing. Never mind the sex, make 'em cluck like a chicken and that's awesome :)

I've seen a couple of shows, even tried to volunteer once at a high school show but my heart was pounding way too hard for me to relax and focus, so I watched it from the audience instead. I've caught a few from the audience - one in Vegas, one at a fair, one during University frosh week, and the aforementioned high school one. Online there's tons of stuff on youtube, but I'm not sure I have a particular fave hypnotist, just various clips that seem to be the things I like.

Are-are you me? Maybe I haven't been interested in it for that long, but it is my number one hypnosis kink.

While we're talking favorites again, I might as well set in stone why I like Alan Sands. His dang itchy feet routine.

I've seen 4 hypnotist shows to completion, the Incredible Boris at a college in 1994 and again at a nightclub in 2001, Fernandez at a fair in 2005, and Tony Lee at a university in 2006. I caught the tail end of a hypnosis show at a college at some point in the late 1990s but I don't remember who it was and it was literally getting to the awakening part where the volunteers are back to normal but are given the post hypnotic suggestion that they won't remember anything until after they leave the auditorium so, when he makes references to what they did on stage, they claim to have no idea what he's talking about.

I don't have the cajones to go up on stage at the beginning, but I did try to go under in the audience at the three shows I went to in the 21st century, with no luck. (For the Fernandez show, I was literally sitting on a concrete step that hurt my butt, so I didn't even get the slightest bit relaxed during the induction.) I can go at least partway under with mp3 files at home, but I think general social anxiety and good old fashioned stage fright keeps me from going under even a little bit at hypnosis show.

The best one I saw was the Tony Lee one, since it was a university show and he got super raunchy (can understand why he's the most popular hypnotist with gay hypnofans). Worst was the 2001 Boris show when only three volunteers went under. The Boris show I saw at a college was better as I think around 10 subjects went under deep enough to be entertaining. The Fernandez one had around the same number of subjects for the full show, but it was all-ages (meaning tame) and very short, though I did get to see an Asian girl hypnotized (one of my sub-fetishes within my general hypno-fetish), so it wasn't all bad.

I'm not sure why I haven't gotten to another hypnotist show in over eight years, maybe it's just I get so much hypnosis entertainment over the Internet that seeing it live is only an afterthought, and there's rarely a show locally when I think of checking the comedy listings.
