Her facial markings look almost like Reverse markings in monochrome, but that's a different card game (Cardfight!! Vanguard).

I can hardly tell the difference between magi magi and DMG.
It was actually tagged as both on Pixiv.
"You will lay on me"? Is there some sort of reference I'm missing?

It's probably just my crappy translation. Literal translation is 'You (and) me (in/on) Overlay'

1) Magi Magi ☆ Magician Gal is a category of monster card called an "Xyz monster" (pronounced ick-seez).
2) Xyz monsters are Xyz Summoned from the Extra Deck (formerly the "Fusion Deck" - a deck for special cards separate to the one you draw from) by placing two or more monsters with the same Level (the orange stars on the cards) you already have out on the field on top of each other. The monsters you need are written on the Xyz monster card.
3) In the anime, the act of placing the monsters on top of each other for an Xyz Summon is called "Overlaying". This is usually declared like so: "I Overlay the Level 6 Dark Magician Girl and Chaos Sorcerer! With these two monsters, I build an Overlay Network! Xyz Summon!! Come forth, Magi Magi ☆ Magician Gal!!"
4) Also in the anime, end of series spoilers involving Overlaying: youtu.be/FzZP3RoQiEw[/spoiler].
For those interested, Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal just ended in Japan last Sunday. After a one week break, Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V ("Arc Five") will start on April 6th. The main character goes to a Duel Academy of some sort and is studying to become an entertainer Duelist (for a new twist on wanting to be the very best, like no one ever was). Also, the characters can ride on the holograms now, with these new Duels being called "Action Duels".
Oh, and the new mechanic for this series is called Pendulum Summoning. P-E-N-D-U-L-U-M. With solid-to-touch holograms. If this does not get picked up on by hypno-fetishists, I will be disappointed.
Edit: I just realised why people are confused about it being tagged as both DMG and Magi Magi. DMG is in the top-right, and Magi Magi is the one getting the full-body shot. It's pre- and post-Xyz Summon.
It seems a lot of Banshou's stuff needs you to be a fan to get it. Like Serena being hypnotised to dress up, because in XY you can dress up.

Ah, thanks for the explaination. Should edit the note, since you know about this stuff xD

I would, but not being able to read it I'm not sure which part of the text is supposed to be where, and I don't have the time to try to pick it apart with an optical character recognition program, either.

The note where the 'You..' is literally translates to 'You (and)', the note where 'will lay on me <3' literally translates to 'me (in/on)... Overlay <3' That's read right to left. Magi Magi Magician Girl is exactly what it says in the last note.
