So a friend of mine is really into ASMR stuff (for those who don't know, just drop it into google, you'll get it quickly) but I'll admit I'm kinda new with the concept. It seems to connect loosely to some hypno stuff, which is neat, so on her advice I started poking around.

Now, she's looking for recordings to relax to; specifically, for me to record stuff for her. Much of the ASMR stuff seems to be women doing recordings, but being a guy, I was trying to hunt around for any guys people know of that seem to be popular/effective for that sort of thing. Bonus value if their stuff dovetails into hypnosis since sooner or later I'd probably try and bring that into the picture to help her relax - I've done some hypno files before, and she wants to relax more, so why not combine these things I guess. And hey, people to possibly hypnotize for fun as well, not to mention getting back into recording stuff. Win-win.

So, with that in mind are there guys doing this that people know of? I've been looking around a bit, but I figure people in this group might have a... special focus that others might not :)

And hey, she's cute; hypnotizing her would be bonus fun.

Bonus: if it works for people I can start making some other files again.

Hope these help! As for actually hypnosis ones, I know Heather Feather has done one. Not really true hypnosis but it's relaxing nonetheless. Though it depends if your friend likes ASMR to make her sleepy or to give her head tingles (I'm the latter) :P

Awesome, thanks for the heads up on the names! She seems to be into both, or at least she likes the tingles to help her relax to sleep, so I'll see what way the recordings progress at least. I figure could be fun to make anyway.
