Ya know, I think "Yes Master" and "Must obey" are becoming buzz killers for me. I just feel fatigued, angry or annoyed when I read them. It's just so lazy and borderline insulting. It's like the image doesn't trust me to know they're hypnotized. I hate it when characters directly state how they feel. That makes me feel angry!

It's FAR worse in videos than images, though. Just... argh. It'd be like pairing every image of a character having sex with "Ahhh... so big" "Ahhh... I'm a virgin" "Ah... feels so good" and shit. Just convey it through the god damn image. NO ONE SPEAKS LIKE THAT. And it hurts my brain.

If that bugs you so much then why don't you just look at the textless version in the source? Wait, I think you need a Pixiv account to do that?

I think you're missing the point. bellchan didn't say "the use of 'yes master' and 'must obey' in this particular image frustrates me." It's just that those phrases get slapped on to so many images where they're completely unneeded and add next to nothing.

I find this funny considering the number of comments we get around here on any image with no text saying "YEAH BUT HOW CAN YOU REALLY TELL THEY'RE HYPNOTISED WITH NO TEXT, HUH"

I can see where some of y'all are coming from, but me personally, I love it when they say stuff like that, particularly if there's not much story to establish it otherwise.
