Just another weekday, taking the bus to work.
Taking one of the empty seats and shuffling over to the window, Cass looked out as the streets rolled by.
He didn't notice the bus piling up with people until an equine man tapped his shoulder, quickly taking his bag off the seat to make room for the stranger.
The general buzz of conversation between the passengers and gentle hum of the engine as they continued on their journey.
It was soon that he and the stranger got to talking.
About life, about Cass' work and the Gabriel, the horse gentlemen's, office job.
His boss was terrible, but he just had to hold on for a bit more until he could afford a new place, and Cass offered to pay for a coffee at his work when Gabe had his lunch break.
The chit chat continued, a little about each other's dating life and how it was going.
Gabe blushing and admitting that his dating life wasn't the best.
"Hard to meet people, y'know?"
The horse had to admit to himself that Cass was cute, but he doubted they'd meet after parting ways at their stop.
"I just need to get away from it all, find a way to completely reset and take control of my life"
It was when his conversation companion didn't reply did he turn and notice the completely vacant expression...
Had he spaced out?
But the little spirals and gentle glow of the canine's eyes told him this wasn't normal...
He had heard of hypnosis but had never given it much thought...well, now Cass wasn't giving any thought at all.
Normally he wouldn't have done this.
He would have just woken him up and gone on with his life...
They had about 15 minutes until their stop...

Cass was late to work...
