Oh just shoot me now
I should just back out of the whole art right here, right now.
Since it turns out that my tablets like to fucking die on me.

Does anyone have ANY ideas as to how the bloody fuck someone could try and charge a WAcom Wireless Accessory kit that does NOT involve the tablet? I can't charge through mine since the USB port is dead. Like... seriously dead.
Ugh

So yeah, anyone have any bright ideas for that?
Or want to help me get a new wacom tablet? XD Even if just a cheap one to be able to charge my damned batteries. ><

Ok, I think you misunderstand the problem here.....

First off, I'm not talking an Android Tablet or anything. I'm talking Drawing Tablet from Wacom.

The USB port is NOT the cord. It's the damned hole that you plug the cord INTO in the tablet. DX

If you put the plug in and it doesn't connect and the plug is can wobble around even if plugged in then I know this pretty well from my HTC....the soldering joints of the connector often tend to get loose and so the whole connector gets useless.....:\ Nice thing the industry invented! Rather contact Wacom support or try a new one :)

I'm going to be saving up my free month for the next few months to try and get a new one. Even if it's just a cheap 1oo dollar thing. I just need something to charge the damned batteries.

Don't panic...

Okay, business.

Never owned a bamboo... on the other hand, the Wacom Intous 4 is ambidextrous. It pulled off that trick off by a tab on the underside of it that you pushed up and down. The Intous 3's weren't, I had to flip them upside down. Not knowing what you're running, can only really guess. Otherwise suggest percussive maintenance. The Intous line was pretty tough, and some of the goofy extras and those things are fun as hell.

Faulty soldering is always a byproduct of cheap corner-cutting. It also leads to stuff like this, or a red ring of death.

Intuos pro 5, actually.

Loved the thing. Ambidextrous due to how you can actually flip it from the driver, and just... love it. Love love love it.

Yeah, I been out of the game for a few years; I was working off the older model... so I don't know if it has two micro usb to usb ports like mine. Otherwise I'd start reading the warranty to see if this qualifies as a defect in manufacturing.

Nope. It doesn't.
I bought it off of someone, who bought it new and never opened it, but I bought it off of someone, and they didn't have the receipt.

Unfortunately it seems like the man gave you the short end of the stick. If you haven't already, try checking the cable. You might be lucky and that might be the faulty bit. You might try an charge another device that uses a mini-usb cable if you have one, or using a different mini-usb cord to charge your tablet.

If you have already done this, sorry for running through standard issue tech support routine. I'd call Wacom anyways, repairs might be cheaper than proper tablet and more satisfying then a lemon or refurb.

It's tempting to post something sarcastic, or that's cheery. But I've had this shit happen to me before. The best I can say is that it's either temporary or a there is a workaround.

I'll look into that, definitely.
Not sure what good it'll do, seeing as I can't even order their shit off their website here.
Ship to the States, but NOT to the North? GDI.

It's not a proprietary plug, which makes life less of a headache. You may be able to find something at the local equivalent of Office Depot. There were more than a few travel trips where I swapped out the cords for my ps3 and my wacky tablet because a longer cord was not to my advantage.

I'll have to look around, maybe I'll find something worthwhile =)
Thanks
