A race of cyborgs originating from the TV show Doctor_Who_(series).
Cybermen often use forms of tech_control on victims to increase their numbers and "convert" them into Cybermen. One such form is the cybus_industries earpods, which will unknowingly control their wearers in a gradual process ending in their "cyber-conversion/upgrade".
Alternatively, Cybermen can be depicted in images featuring robotization, in some cases not showing a full conversion. The partially-converted cyberwoman from the Doctor Who spin-off show Torchwood is an example of this.
