I ran into a green Lickitung outside the ice cave in Gold version in my first playthrough ever. I killed it in one hit and shrugged my shoulders since I didn't know what it was. Later I decided it was cool and went back to the same patch of grass to see if I could find more :|
The funny thing is that when I caught my shiny Natu back on Silver, I didn't realize that shiny Pokemon were a thing outside the Gyarados in Lake of Rage. I caught it in a patch of grass next to the Ruins of Alph, and I was convinced for a good while that it was somehow the key to unlocking Celebi. XD
Also funny is that, when I used it on Pokemon Stadium 2, it was blue, and when it evolved into a Xatu, it turned red. Its sprite in the game was just a slightly lighter green, which is more or less what shiny Natus and Xatus look like in all the other games.

You want more creepy goodness? Go to Lumiose City's TMV Station and on the back of farthest timeboard there's a mysterious message there. Its my feeling that the ghost and that message are related somehow.

Not since Celadon City have I been as enamored with a gym's trainers and leader as I am with Laverre City's. The trainers in that gym are ridiculously cute, and I don't know why, but I feel like Valerie would make a great hypno-dom. Maybe it's the eyes, or the fact that all her pupils are dressed up like pretty dolls and living in a doll house. Also, her use of the word "captivating" and just the general way she speaks.

She's definitely one of my favorite Leaders in this region, if not my favorite. And to be honest, I can definitely see her being one since everyone seems to be enamored by her in that gym. Those eyes definitely threw me off at first though;
She's such a cutie too with the reasons why she does her fashion the way she does, I just can't handle it ahhh/////
