 | Futurama is an American animated sci-fi sitcom. Aired on the Fox Network from 1999–2003, Comedy Central from 2008–2013, and on the streaming service Hulu from 2023. The show is a workplace sitcom, following the adventures of [[Philip_Fry]], [[Turanga_Leela]], [[Bender]] and other characters who work for the Planet Express delivery company in the 31st century.
The show features several instances of mind control and hypnosis, including the [[Brain_Slug]], which inhibits thought when placed on a character's head and feasts on their brainwaves. The character of [[Hypnotoad]] is another example, who possesses [[hypnotic_eyes]]. The character Yivo's [[tentacles]] are also considered a form of mind control via [[brain_injection]] through the neck which can cause a [[happy_trance]] that makes any character fall in love with it.
