The DHMC functions as essentially the FDA but for hypnotic products. They make sure companies fall within their regulations, and consumers and their minds are kept safe.
If anything even has a whiff of hypnosis or mind control involved, you can be confident that the DHMC will be at their doorstep the next day with a checklist.
Tho... they really only care about things directly related to mind control.
So if you buy a DHMC-approved product, like say a collar that lets you feel what's happening inside a video game, you can be sure that the product works as intended and won't fry ur brain.
But if you decide to play a buggy mess of a game that has no relation to hypnosis, and wear said collar while playing it. That's on you, the DHMC has no interest in non-hypnotic matters.
...So yeah, Konnie is currently feeling every hole in her body be violated by concrete as she clips through the map, while a glitched-out sticky shock grenade keeps looping its damage animation and won't despawn.
Good thing the DHMC makes sure all products have a mandatory 10-minute automatic shutdown that can be turned on. Let's hope Konnie remembered to set that up in advance ;;
